Glad to hear there's a possibility you could return, BartBurk. I would consider you my friend whether you do or don't (I generally consider myself friends with everybody), but it would make me very happy if you did return.

Alas, I must point out that I will never buy a beer for you, Markk, and I honestly hope you will never buy a beer for me! I'd be glad to buy you a pitcher of root beer (and would accept a pitcher of root beer from you); does that count?

The creation story of the Finnish Kalevala is pure poetry!

Yes, but things change? I actually don't drink very often...I had three and a half beers last week while fishing (getting skunked) down in Mexico...but that was the first beer I have had is over six months.
I like a good root beer myself. We have a old school A&W root beer restaurant a few miles away, they make a killer root beer freeze.

Okay, a very long time ago Servant made a post about the existence of an omnipotent God making sense to him, and I replied by asking whether God's omnipotence included God's ability to cause a soul to cease to exist. Servant made no response to that post at all, and eventually stopped posting to this thread; Markk never replied to that post either, but at least he's still posting. Servant and/or Markk, can you tell me whether God's omnipotence includes God's ability to cause a soul to cease to exist?

Servant is a her, and shes pretty sharp, even if she wears her emotions on her shirt sleeve...I am sure she did not duck such a question...and I did respond...please go back and look?
God can do anything with his creation. He created us, He can un-create us. I am not sure I understand where you are going with that.
I assume you are looking at this in that LDS theology teaches all mankind are eternal intelligences, or gnolaum. That is not what the Bible teaches.

We can just keep it simple. Evolution through natural selection. Pretty much the most documented scientific theory that exists. Not sure how you're shoehorning intelligent design into the process...
