I see. Poor millennial sheeple, giving up person freedoms and relying on others doing the right thing and protecting them.

Couple more generations and that damned gun culture problem will vanish.

It's interesting to me that as the facts have come out about the San Bernadino shooting, it hasn't really changed any minds or opinions on the left. It happened in California, a liberal state with very strict gun control. The attackers were both Muslim. ISIS claimed responsibility calling them martyrs. The woman immigrated to the US on a 90 day fiancé VISA.

All we can talk about are confiscating assault weapons and global warming.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Touché, Rock, touché. Having spawned a millennial or three myself, I am pleased to say not a one could be called a sheeple, Mormon or otherwise. It must be all that Ayn Rand I read while gestating.

You obviously didn't listen to the President's address, I guess you're just waiting for Breitbart to tell you what he said. Obama addressed the visa waiver program and proposed reforming it to make it more difficult and you're wrong about ISIS, they didn't claim responsibility for the attacks. President Obama said as much, that these killers were under no orders by any terrorist organization to do what they did. And calling California "strict" in the gun law dept is really grading it on a curve. I mean its like claiming to be the tallest dwarf in the room. The killers were able to get their guns by exploiting another loophole in the system.

I stated my case and my opinion, thank you for your opinion, maybe now would be the time for you to stop trying to pick every fight you can and follow your own rule:

Seriously? You thought my question was an attempt to "pick a fight"? Couldn't it be possible that you're misreading Mak? This isn't an attempt to tag-team (I never viewed you as an opponent) but rather to help resolve a possible misunderstanding. And I wasn't telling you what you meant; I specifically asked you what you meant and for whatever reason, you're content not to answer. I said the third definition was "probably" what you had in mind only because that is the meaning most people use, especially in the context of criticizing others. But if I was wrong, OK. That was the whole point of asking for clarification.

Didn't say the article stated that, but I'm happy to provide sources:

No, in fact. It's been that way for decades.

I'm ignoring absolutely nothing whatsoever. I pointed out one additional reason that the stats are down.

Or sold them. You're aware people sell guns, right? In terms of raw numbers there are fewer households with guns, but the significant drop has been in the percentage of households owning guns. 40 years ago it was about half the population, now it's under 1/3.

No surprise. You're phenomenally dogmatic on the topic and not very educated on it.

Actually, as has been pointed out numerous times in this thread, it is a fact that has been demonstrated for decades that private gun ownership increases risk of death. It is not a protection, it is a proven threat to public safety. The sooner you learn that, the sooner we can stop having 7-year-old girls getting shot in the head at soccer practice. I promise you her parents couldn't possibly care less about how much guns sexually arouse you. These events play out on a daily basis across this country because of your ignorant ideology.

The narrative you use to excuse the innocent death that your ideology & dogmatism directly cause is willfully naïve and stubbornly ghoulish.
