Do we know whether the sister in question acquiesced to JD's offer of a phone called with him and MD?Meadowchik wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 7:18 pmFtr she said that for the most part he liked the sexy pics and avoided non-sexy ones of which there was an abundance.

Conspicuously missing in your hypothetical is any mention of going on some kind of online crusade against Z. In other words, you guys imagine taking appropriate, proportional action, not making some kind of big deal out of it. I’m going to go out on a limb and speculate that the person we are talking about is attention seeking and was not all that broken up to get more attention by making a public big deal out of a relatively unimportant question of online taste and etiquette. This person should know not to friend me on Facebook because, if I ever learn who she is, I’ll unfollow her just as I quit following Dehlin.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 6:11 pmSo, I just ran this scenario by my wife who doesn’t follow this board, John Dehlin, ex-Mormon stuff, none of it:
Hey X, if we went to the lake and we took a bunch of pictures and for some reason you felt comfortable enough to post your bikini pics on your Facebook profile along with other pics of the day, and Y’s husband Z (we’re casual friends with Y & Z) ended up liking all your bikini pics, he didn’t like any others, just your bikini pics, what would your reaction be?
“I’d be thoroughly creeped out by it, I’d delete him from my friends group, and I’d give serious consideration to discussing it with Y. That’s some creepy-assed behavior.”
Straight up quote from my wife’s face. I think Meadowchik is tracking correctly on this one.

Just reading his doc. He claims the photos were in succession. That seems plausible-ish that he was doing the "old person" just like everything thing.Meadowchik wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 7:18 pmFtr she said that for the most part he liked the sexy pics and avoided non-sexy ones of which there was an abundance.
Although I'm having a hard time believing this. JD gives the impression of being quite a bright, in-touch, sensitive type of person, so surely he would know how someone might interpret this.
Can't seem to find the bit where he justifies re-liking them.

Imagine being the kind of person who tracks likes in that way. Barf.

Sounds like a not-my-problem problem. Maybe the person who has it should look into doing something about that.

The woman in the OP's story was polite enough to just call it 'feeling uncomfortable,' but I'm with your wife on this. "thoroughly creeped out by it" fits better.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 6:11 pmSo, I just ran this scenario by my wife who doesn’t follow this board, JD, ex-Mormon stuff, none of it:

Predictable nonsense.
