Absolutely not. I recommend you take those bare-chested photos of yourself down from your Facebook page, consiglieri. We are going to flashmob you, liking, unliking, and re-liking all of them if you don't. We'll see how you feel about your callousness then.

The majority of the facts are corroborated by Dehlin in the Google Doc. And if we merely read that alone, essential complaints still stand.consiglieri wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:38 pmWhy should we take this story at face value?Meadowchik wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:05 pm
You have so much empathy for Dehlin but where is your empathy for women? Where is your "benefit of the doubt" for a person who remembers attention from a public figure?
Why is this offended woman not so offended as to tell her own story?
Why must her story be filtered through an ardent defender?
Exactly the same as Rosebud?
Why is all we are getting hearsay?
Just some questions from the peanut gallery.

I can’t say whether or not the woman tracked the likes or if she, again, was discussing the likes with someone when she noticed they had been unliked. But the bottom line was jd liked those pics, unliked them, and then reliked them. Weird crap, man.Kishkumen wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:41 pmYeah, maybe on occasion. Not enough to track like, unlike, like. Sometimes I have gone to like something that I forgot I liked, then I accidentally hit like, inadvertently unliking it, so then I feel obliged to like it again lest the person think I was retracting a like.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:36 pmWhen you get a notification from Facebook that someed a pic of yours or a comment you made you don’t click on the notification out of curiosity or got to your pic or comment as a sort of reminding yourself what that thing was? I do. I think it’s a natural Facebook user behavior.

I had no idea that such a thing would be considered a secret, creepy message, but then I don't like people's "sexy pics."
Anyway. I’m with you on the part where neither one of us would’ve done that in the first place because we’re not utterly stoned in the dome.

Yeah, it shows that this person went ballistic over some minorly creepy stuff Dehlin did.Meadowchik wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:46 pmThe majority of the facts are corroborated by Dehlin in the Google Doc. And if we merely read that alone, essential complaints still stand.
Point taken.

Again with atleast-he-isn't-killing-anybody.consiglieri wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:44 pmJesus Christ!
I just sentenced a 21-year old client to prison this morning for killing a friend in a car accident.
And you’re moaning about a woman feeling uncomfortable that the sexy pics of herself she put out on her own Facebook page got too much male notice?!
Can we get a little freaking perspective around here?

I think the two of us understand what kind of world we live in. A world where women are not sex objects who are waiting to be noticed by us. John could use some harder thinking on that point.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:47 pmI can’t say whether or not the woman tracked the likes or if she, again, was discussing the likes with someone when she noticed they had been unliked. It seems a bit bizarre to recall that specific detail, I mean how many friends would she have to remember how many likes and from whom. Dunno, she's got a good memory.Kishkumen wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:41 pmYeah, maybe on occasion. Not enough to track like, unlike, like. On the otherhand, if you go back to the JD is a rockstar narrative promoted in the Rosebud thread, and I can imagine this in my own life, ie, if I had posted some photos of myself in speedos and RFM liked them I would remember this. And then, would be absolutely cheep thrills through the roof if he subsequently un-liked and then re-liked them. I would remember because of his importance in my life, or in general.
Final caveat: Since JD is in the cross hairs, and an easy target, very open to the fact that it's all idle gossip.

I think "no human beings have yet had their lives ruined" is a great argument for trying to keep things that way. Instead of, you know, what is going on here.

Just to be clear, he fesses up to re-liking the photos? I did read the document, but missed this bit and people so flippin' eager to redact, that nobody posts anything that is searchableMeadowchik wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:46 pmThe majority of the facts are corroborated by Dehlin in the Google Doc.
