Hello Mittens,
So define separate person.
Kolob’s set time is “one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest” (Abraham 3:4). I take this as a round number. - Gee

Here's my latest revelation.

The Corporation of the First Presidency is the Holy Ghost. The Constitution says that a corporation can be a person. See, theology and capitalism. Definitely inspired.

We teach 1X1X1=1 or three separate persons ONE GOD

but are gods

you realize perhaps that 1x1x1 =1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1
x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1 etc

does that mean that the LDS godhead equals the Trinity?

Husband and wife equal two separate persons distinct from each other but ONE MARRAIAGE

or what the Bible compares God with

Genesis 1:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Notice man is three separate parts that make ONE MAN

1 Thessalonians 5
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mittens,
I see you haven't got a reply to my request. All you can do is point to things that are in one way of looking considered a whole or one, but in another way of looking considered to be made up of separate things. What I asked for is a clear definition of how this happens with god especially in light of John 17 where it is clearly stated that those who successfully become heirs of the kingdom will become one in precisely the same manner that the Father and Christ are one. When you find a way to define it let me know. But if all you have is "it's a mystery" or an inept attempt using terminology that itself is undefined then you have no business mocking the LDS viewpoint as laughable when your viewpoint is no less laughable.

One being. Three persons. In other words, one "what" and three "who"s. There is one being, God. There are three persons: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The distinction is between being and person. One being, three persons. One what, three who's.

John Ankerberg [Everything You Ever Wanted to know about Mormonism]

1. There is Only One God
2. The Father is God;
3. Jesus Christ, the Son, is God
4. The Holy Spirit is a Person, is eternal and is therefore God
5. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are distinct persons.

first used by Theophilus (A.D. 168 A.D. - 183 A.D.), or from the Lat. trinitas, first used by Tertullian (A.D. 220 A.D.), to express this doctrine. The propositions involved in the doctrine are these: 1. That God is one, and that there is but one God (Deut 6:4; 1 Kings 8:60; Isa 44:6; Mark 12:29,32; John 10:30). 2. That the Father is a distinct divine Person (hypostasis, subsistentia, persona, suppositum intellectuale), distinct from the Son and the Holy Spirit. 3. That Jesus Christ was truly God, and yet was a Person distinct from the Father and the Holy Spirit. 4. That the Holy Spirit is also a distinct divine Person.

One being. Three persons.

Yea, like I said you can't define it. What you state is a contradiction.

person -
a human being regarded as an individual.

I don't suppose you mean that definition of the word, person, would refer to the father god? Or is the father god, according to mainstream fantasy, a human being? That sounds more like LDS doctrine to me.

And you left out how all the true disciples become one in the same way as the father and the son are one.

Seems clear, Jesus prayed to God the Father a separate and distinct person

One being. Three persons.

The definition of person is a human being. So your definition of god is three human beings.
