I know that NOM was important to many just as it was to me at one point in my journey out of the church. I'd hate to see all of the past posts disappear and also not see any future posts by those who now need the same support we received.

I agree 100%!!!
I never really understood what happened with Zadok. He was one of the most delightful, empathetic and interesting members over on NOM. His wit and charm were such a great addition to that forum! And wow, what a story he had to tell (same with you cwald).
I know that Zadok showed up here and posted for a while, but he's MIA here now too sadly.
As far as feeling welcome over on NOM, I was made to feel that I should move on at at times (and I did for the most part). But then, I'll never forget the old timers that were around when I first started posting there and how much they helped me. I'd just soak up anything they posted and they helped me so much.
That's one thing I hope would change if NOM gets going again (the "oldies but goodies" will be welcome!).
