Unless involved in his business or politics, thou shalt leave his family out of it.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The problem is that he has involved his family in the politics. They're intertwined by virtue of the fact that he's handed them his companies while taking office. It's unconstitutional.
I have no truck with anyone who wants to go after Eric or Don Jr. or Ivanka or Jared about what they're doing to the country, or the horrible conflicts of interest they constantly present.
If Chelsea Clinton had plastic surgery, should Republicans have been talking about that if Hillary Clinton won?
The Trump administration is a target-rich environment with respect to criticizing politics and family ties to business and politics. It's my golden rule in politics: What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If you want to talk about hawking geegaws to enrich yourself vis a vis a post-election TV show, fine. Rip all the ones who did a new one.
Surgery isn't a conflict of interest crime.
