Anyway. My point in engaging you is to try to persuade you to keep voting, whichever way you’re inclined to vote. I think we have a good system, so don’t let the nonsense get into your head.

I would like to vote. It has been an important part of my life and my family for multiple generations. And, I just will not do it with VBM in play. Not ever again. I can contribute in other ways - I do, and I will. I will NOT vote in elections that have VBM. I do not judge those who choose otherwise.

I know, I also have a hard line for voter ID too. And again, if everyone else wants to join the voting process - that is great. I just can't. It is too too too contrary to what I want.

Not following this thread. Do you mean Vote By Mail? If so, we've voted by mail nearly all our adult lives while in the military and now as well.

yes. and I understand and have an allowance for military. I have voted in past elections with VBM. I will not do it again. No big deal. That is simply a better decision for me.

Five states – Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington – conduct what are commonly referred to as all-mail elections.

https://ballotpedia.org/All-mail_voting

Here’s the historical record of VBM in CA:

https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/historical-absentee

tl;dc - Since 1962

Again, I’m not understanding what’s so terrible with VBM in CA that’d make a man want to stop voting by mail.

I do not find it credible, interesting or worthwhile. I am not stopping voting by mail. I am not voting where VBM is included in the process.

I doubt there are more than a few people with my opinion or position. I have never met anyone in-person that shares my opinion, other than my wife. I have zero hope or ambition of persuading anyone to accept my position or adapt it. NONE. I am not trying to persuade anyone to take my position or to change theirs. I have not tried in this conversation.

Look, Doc Cam. There is nothing terrible about the NFL, some people do not watch it. It does not need to be terrible for me to make the decision I made. You are, again, making a fault line out of nothing. You are the evidence in this conversation.

I cannot think of a single person that would be interested in changing their position based on my position. None. This is all a widget in a conversation about fault lines where making a different decision is met with derision and insults. The standing before laches thing is a huge huge huge deal for me. An enormous deal. So much so, that I really do not have faith in the courts for election issues like I did. I cannot take them seriously. But, I am not asking anyone else to be like me or think like me. Without confidence in the courts, I am not going to have confidence in an election that may need the courts. So, I am out and you are welcome.

So, despite all the evidence and testimonies demonstrating that VBM is credible and secure, you remain unchanged. Are you sure you’re not the example you’re claiming others are? Because that’s the crux of the issue; that evidence can’t change someone’s mind.

Jesus Christ Doc. Get off the crap you’re smoking wee man.

That was not “all the evidence.” There were no “testimonies.” Are you high AF or what? Hell, there was one post on here pointing to data from a reputable university that had some parallels to what I was making.

The crux of the issue is that despite what you may want here in your silo with gunner and evictus and whoever is cheering for you, there are other points of view and believe it or not, they are valid points.

There are other conclusions, and they are not all wrong.

Your insistence that anyone who disagrees with you is QAnon is so demonstrably comical we should probably just drop this. The point is made. You want to sh*t on anyone that doesn't agree with your ideology. You have friends that agree with you. that's great.

How do you want to end this? I’m bored with it.

Well, post your evidence for your other conclusions then.

edit: I’ll help you out with AZ’s “audit”:

Image

1. Trying to find bamboo in ballots to prove they were made in China.

2. China specifically targeted Arizona as a vulnerable swing state and put an intelligence operation in place to change votes to Biden.

3. China somehow manufactured fake ballots and had a network of agents ready to somehow distribute them to every polling place AND (because the electronic vote count was proven to match the ballot count) also had software installed on voting machines to EXACTLY switch votes by the same amount as the paper ballots.

4. Chinese agents used paper made in China rather than find some in the USA and use that.

Also, don’t forget the claims Democrats shredded the legit ballots, fed them to chickens, and then burned the chickens because that damned makes sense.

Nice point Doc, about the cognitive dissonance of simultaneously believing that the actual events of January 6th needs no further investigation, while the rumors of Beijing's bogus bamboo ballots deserve our full attention.
