I hope that's the case. We all need a breather from time to time.

Yes, I'm making that claim.

I didn't say that I ignored Terrestrial. I said that I rarely participate on it.

Damn, you're good girl. I'm glad ur on my side.

lol

I follow it from time to time. I largely stopped participating here for two reasons. 1) I'm not always interested in Mormon topics and 2) the threads that I did enter were a giant cf on account of MG's nonsense.

Hey I still got it.

Shades has a pretty good system set up here. It works pretty well when people take responsibility for their own conduct and act like grownups.

I have to agree. Every time I've posted in celestial I've always been on my best behavior. That is a heavily moderated board and only good behavior is tolerated. But down in terrestrial and telestial the rules get a little thinner and boundary lines are pushed. The tiered system works good.

If it was up to me, most of the traffic would happen in the Telestial Kingdom...no holds barred and I can say whatever I want. Unfortunately, you and I are about the only folks who hang out down there on a regular basis, so i'm forced to venture up here to the Terrestrial for company and education. It's bearable, mostly, but the Celestial Kingdom. No. That is not for me.

Likely because you weren't a participant in the derailed threads for 3 years? That's 3 years, RI.

Think about it.

Three years where posters tried to fight stuff out in the threads because they didn't want to bother mods. And, when they did make reports (MG made reports also) a time out was called.

Put yourself in their place. There's grindael trying to publish content rich material and having his threads upended by a troll. He tries to deal with it. Others try to deal with it. They don't want to overload mods. And when they finally report, they get a first time ever Jubilee instead of a ruling.

Three years of that, RI.

Like I said, this is no skin off my nose except for the fact that I appreciate the 3 posters who left. I can certainly understand how others feel about it.

I’ve gone back and reread the threads. I know what they look like. I’d dare say I have a little clearer perspective because I’m not emotionally embroiled in the war that went on.

I guess I’m inclined to do at this point what I should have done after Grindael left — go through the MG-Grindael interactions in the hope that having a common base of fact will ratchet down some of the emotion.

I’d be happy to post in telestial or prison. Fits my vocabulary better anyway.

Have you gone back and read the interactions?

ooh you're in trouble now, girrrl! You have to behave yourself up here in Terrestrial. You can troll your c-fing a off but you can't actually say cf!! I'm calling you on it, and raising you a fubar. (Did I use that correctly? I'm not military. Heck if I know what the fetch it means. )
