MSU apparently knew about it. First allegation was made in the late 90's. (1997?) And you're exactly right. This is Sandusky all over again. I'll try to come up with some documentation for the time frame mentioned later.

But...if you catch video interview or statements by Lindsey Lemke, she eviscerates MSU and Larry Nassar. I believe she mentions the earliest allegations and tears MSU apart for doing exactly nothing. In any case, if you listen to statements made by the victims you get a fuller picture of how this happened and how it went on for so many years.

ETA: Listen to Lindsey Lemke's victim impact statement. It's powerful.

ETA: Start the video and slide it over (go past about the first minute or two) until you see her.

Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:"She-EO" Miki Agrawal accused of sexual harassment settled out of court. This lengthy article is worth the read, AND I recommend readers reverse genders in this scenario and ask yourselves what kind of treatment a man would get:

Again. Read this article and tell me if a CEO of a company wrote this kind of article would he even still have a job?

What a creep. She’s out as CEO of the company she co-founded, and I’d be shocked if she ever is given any position in management. She’s a walking sexual harassment lawsuit, so she may well be unemployable. She’s had a complaint filed against her with the NY Civil Rights Conmission and, if she has money or assets, lawsuits will likely follow. She doesn’t have balls to be strung up by, so there is that.

If anyone is strongly interested in hearing the impact to victims of childhood sexual abuse, please listen to this victim impact statement by Nicole Reeb, victim of Larry Nassar.

Start around 19:23.

I've known three victims (5 more who I wasn't in a position to follow) who deal with the same issues as she. This is what a victim of early sexual abuse can live with.

If they indeed live at all.

As a friendly note you can attach "?t=XXmXXs" with the XX being the time you want the video to start for a direct link. You can also click on the share button under the video and check the "start at" button to get a generated link. Just a simpler way to point to a particular moment you want (I suspect there will be more of that powerful testimony worth sharing)

Larry Nassar has been sentenced.

He's already gotten 60 years for possession of child pornography.

Judge Aquilina sentenced him today to 40-175 years in prison. If I am not mistaken, he faces yet another trial for a different offense.

"I've just signed your death warrant." ~ Rosemarie Aquilina

I have to read the article again and listen to her sentencing. She completey put the screws to him as she pronounced sentence. You have to listen to it for yourself if you're interested.

Prediction: He'll suicide.

"You can't give them back their innocence their youth"

WTF?!?!? The judge sounds like Moroni 9:9 (an extremely damaging verse for rape victims). The judge is doing even more psychological damage to the victims for saying that, she should be sent to jail too. She ain't no hero. Seriously what a dumb@$$ she is making things worst for the victims.

Garrison Keillor appears to have lied, badly, about the nature of the sexual harassment claim (claims actually) against him:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/ ... llegations

One of the difficult things about judging HR reactions to public harassment claims is we don't know what internal investigations have found. We don't really know what they are basing their decisions on in most cases, so it's hard to know if it's an overreaction to accusation in public or not.
