Mueller also interviewed for FBI position, why do you conveniently omit facts in favor of presupposition? Either way, you don't get to accuse Trump of being an unreasonable person and then claim his actions as being "reasonable" for an excuse to condemn.
I'm sorry. What did he say to Comey again? Why did he fire Comey?

I think it's worth noting Trump didn't relent from firing Mueller because it was illegal; Trump only relented to keep McGahn from quitting as White House Counsel. McGahn has been with Trump since the campaign, so if he lost McGahn because he quits then you better believe McGahn is going to be sucked into the investigation.
I don't see how Trump can fire Mueller without forcing Congress to impeach him. I just don't.

I don't know, Doc, I don't see much more than lip service from the current GOP controlled Congress that suggest they would seriously commit to this. I honestly don't even expect a Nixon-like scenario where the AG and Deputy AG would resign over this sort of thing, I'm not seeing much honor among thieves right now.

I think Devin Nunes continuing to head the House Intelligence Committee and actively thwart the investigation despite his supposed recusal is a clear tell where Republicans leadership will stand on impeaching Trump over firing Mueller unless something significantly changes with information out in public. And what's already out in public is completely damning.

The District Attorney in Manhattan might charge Trump, but that charge could disappear with a large enough donation to Mr. Vance's reelection fund. Otherwise, the shooting would boost Trump's popularity with his own supporters.

I'm actually starting to suspect that McGahn is the actual leak in all this. All these stories coming out seem to paint him as like the last heroic member defending The Hot Gates against Trump and his cronies desire to do evil and I think it is a fair assumption to think anyone running with Trump for this long probably isn't squeaky clean.

Make it go away, fire the Department head if you have to, but make it go away. If Mueller is fired, someone comes in to take his place. As long as the FBI is working properly, it is the Federal Police Department, not the White House Police Department
