Trump's Greatest Failure as President?

I guess we should start keeping track, but these have to be somewhere at the top in epic fails.

Colluding with Russia: Tried and Failed
Firing Mueller: Tried and Failed
Repealing Obamacare: Failed
Discredit the FBI: Failed
Keeping his Cabinet loyal: Failed - leakiest administration in history.
Being honest with the American people: Never even tried on this one.

He used to talk about how we had to "take care of" the DACA "kids" because he has a great love for them, but now he's using them as pawns in his botched negotiations. I'd call that a fail.

Then we learned recently this one prior to his administration:
Remaining faithful while Melania is still breastfeeding: Failed

I think his greatest failure was to realize that the skills that had propelled him to fame and fortune and the election would NOT be the skills that he would need as President. Electing a narcissist as President and expecting him to be less narcissistic is like trying to put out a fire by pouring gasoline on it.

He made such a poor effort to prepare for the Presidency because he doesn't know how to play any role other than Donald Trump.

Trump's objectives and values clearly aren't yours, so talking about failure becomes a bit subjective, doesn't it? He's in the White House and the party he is the uneasy head of controls all branches of our government. He got his tax cuts, the biggest objective of Republicans, always. He failed his way into millions of dollars into his own pockets.

And what was the greatest failure of the Democrats? They are the ones who need to learn and come back. They are the ones facing extinction. Is learning and adaptation happening? Are they willing to look beyond the Russians and conspiracy theories, at their own failures and weaknesses? Or do they simply think Trump's administration will fold under all of the lawsuits and ridicule and they will not have to change?

He got his tax cuts, the biggest objective of Republicans, always. He failed his way into millions of dollars into his own pockets.

So you're saying a man who defrauds the country isn't a failure because he's defrauding the country? Tax cuts are about the easiest thing a politician can get, especially when his party controls Congress.. He's managed to achieve nothing that requires minimal negotiation skills and all his two faced approach to recent negotiations is what led to a shutdown, and could potentially lead to another pretty soon.

And what was the greatest failure of the Democrats?

I'm talking about one man, Trump, and you feel the need to include the failure of all Democrats just to even the scale? Seems pretty telling don't you think?

If Trump's administration triggers a wave election for the Democrats, what are you going to be saying at that time?

I am hopeful that the far left radicals will become extinct (I have the same hope for the far right radicals). Truth be told, I am very hopeful that all of this recent political yuck that we see playing out across America (And on a much smaller scale, on this discussion board) will be the catalyst for a future where the middle becomes much more crowded with American citizens. And for those who decide to hang their hats in this space, I am very hopeful that they will find a new wave of people, all across this great country - willing to run as politicians......so they will have a voice.

I really am hopeful for the future in American politics.

We shall see.

In light of their values and priorities, he is a success. They don't give a rat's about your opinion. They're getting what they want, not as easily as they'd like, but it's still happening. Try reading, you say? You don't know the difference between a statement and a question? How can I be "manufacturing" something for you when I'm asking you a reasonable question based on your dumb remarks? If that wasn't your point, then what the hell was? To troll?

I know what Trump's values are. He wants a wall. That was the signature promise he made that got him elected; along with repealing and replacing Obamacare which crashed and burned hard over the summer. If he doesn't accomplish those three things, how is this not an absolute failure of accomplishing what's "valued" by Trump and the GOP?
