I am hopeful that the far left radicals will become extinct (I have the same hope for the far right radicals). Truth be told, I am very hopeful that all of this recent political yuck that we see playing out across America (And on a much smaller scale, on this discussion board) will be the catalyst for a future where the middle becomes much more crowded with American citizens. And for those who decide to hang their hats in this space, I am very hopeful that they will find a new wave of people, all across this great country - willing to run as politicians......so they will have a voice.
I really am hopeful for the future in American politics.
We shall see.

Those with morals in this country hope that the radical religious right becomes extinct. We shall see.
Trump's objectives and values clearly aren't yours, so talking about failure becomes a bit subjective, doesn't it?
Private property, the right as citizens of a sovereign nation to have and enforce our southern border, personal responsibility and self reliance, not having more children than you can afford to pay and provide for yourself, respect for work and workers rights to their paychecks
Perhaps in Kevin's and your world the alt right is immoral and has no values. I don't see it that way. We're the only ones who really stand by the principles I listed.

I think you're fighting over the two oreos we want to eat while some pig faced lardass is munching on the other 8.

There are extremists on both sides. Immoral isn't exactly a word that comes to mind for either. It's about power. More or less bloodless war.
It was time for a conservative in the White House. But not this guy. Sorry, he's an opportunist and the alt-right and the Republicans are just hoping that he won't turn on them at some point. His loyalty is to himself. You have noticed that, haven't you, or do you really believe he's a born again patriot and Christian this late in the game?

I don't think any other conservatives were able to win. DJT appealed to the rust belt in a way traditional conservatives could not. As you pointed out, the more the left hates DJT, the better job I think he's doint.
we have and do enforce our border
We have laws on the books legitimately made through democratic government under the US Constitution. Every 20 years we've been bullied by the left with charges of racism if we don't grant amnesty to several million people who disregard and break these laws, all the while supporting the children of illegal immigrants with millions and millions of tax dollars because we don't enforce the law. In Kevin's world anyone who wants to enforce the border is a racist. That's not recognizing the legal right of US citizens to vote for and pass laws that protect their jobs and their tax dollars.
“It's not logical that we boast the most advanced and powerful internationally integrated economy in the world, then claim organizational incompetence and poverty when it comes to creating and funding a national health care system for all Americans.”
The children of immigrants of all types is a net economic benefit to US both in terms of GDP growth and tax burden. That's not a disputable fact, yet you keep insisting the opposite. On a separate matter, you are a vicious racist.
That you keep insisting false facts about immigration, despite being given clear evidence to the contrary repeatedly, is how people are able to tell that your racism motivates your thinking.
There was a substantial build-up of border enforcement in the late Bush, early Obama years that you dismiss as "not wanting to enforce the border." That's because you take any opposition to any policy that seeks as its goal to reduce undocumented immigration as "not wanting to enforce the border." The position that a civil violation like unlawfully overstaying a visa is not the sort of thing that justifies whatever unbelievably cruel and thoughtless policy you can think of doesn't even enter into your mind. I truly wonder how far you are willing to take it since there seems to be no state response that seems over the top to you. No matter how barbaric, "overstayed a visa" is a heinous enough act in your mind that the response is justified. As a person who has a written history of supporting literal genocide, this probably shouldn't be surprising.
Finally, you aren't just about "enforcing the border" as you support a series of policies that are specifically designed to curb legal immigration.
The only economic category of people that illegal immigration has a net negative impact on is native born US citizens who have not graduated high school. And the effect is relatively small. Every other category sees either flat effect or economic gains from it.
Perhaps Ajax can point us to any other policy position he has where the interests of highschool dropouts is of paramount importance over and above the rest of us. If his immigration positions aren't motivated by xenophobia or racism, but out of abiding economic concern for the lowest-skilled underclass, I'm sure it'll be no problem for him to do so.
