Post by _Bach »

This will be a huge bomb blowing up in the Democrat’s face, Obama and their Party. All of the law firms I know inside the beltway are all in unison on this explosion! Democrats are scrambling to do something, anything to save face and diffuse. Some are even coming up with some type of non official memo, maybe authored by Shelia Jackson!

But itsa comin folks!

How many times is the GOP going to cry wolf on this subject? First the secret society theory that went up in flames, and now this.

Demobama Gate? Can't figure out a way to get Clinton into it? Well, I guess we can work on the name.

Newsweek wrote:President Donald Trump’s Justice Department had reason to suspect that former Trump campaign associate Carter Page was a Russian agent, according to a Republican memo.

The contentious and secret memo, allegedly created by Republicans to discredit the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, shows that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein approved an application to continue surveillance of Page, sources told The New York Times.

The memo alleges that the FBI and Justice Department did not adequately explain to a judge that they were relying partly on research by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele when they sought to renew a warrant for surveillance of Page from the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Court (FISA). Steele was the author of the highly controversial Russia dossier that alleged that Russia had been cultivating Trump for years.

Page had been under surveillance for literally YEARS before Rosenstein got on the scene, based on information that had absolutely nothing to do with the Christopher Steele memo.

New York Times wrote:Russian intelligence operatives tried in 2013 to recruit an American businessman and eventual foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign who is now part of the F.B.I. investigation into Russia’s interference into the American election, according to federal court documents and a statement issued by the businessman.

The businessman, Carter Page, met with one of three Russians who were eventually charged with being undeclared officers with Russia’s foreign intelligence service, known as the S.V.R. The F.B.I. interviewed Mr. Page in 2013 as part of an investigation into the spy ring, but decided that he had not known the man was a spy, and the bureau never accused Mr. Page of wrongdoing.

The court documents say that Mr. Page, who founded an investment company in New York called Global Energy Capital, provided documents about the energy business to one of the Russians, Victor Podobnyy, thinking he was a businessman who could help with brokering deals in Russia.

In fact, Mr. Podobnyy was an S.V.R. officer posing as an attaché at the Russian mission to the United Nations.

Court documents do not identify Mr. Page, but the details in a statement he emailed to reporters on Tuesday match the individual described as “Male-1” in the court case. Mr. Page’s contact with the Russian spy was first reported on Monday by BuzzFeed News.

I think you're right Bach, this is a lot like Watergate.

In Nixon's 1974 State of the Union Message, he said one year of the Watergate investigation was enough, and got a hearty round of applause from the Republicans in the chamber. I think Trump will make a similar plea in his 2018 State of the Union.

I didn't work for Nixon. It won't work for Trump.

Says the guy who has seen more theories go up in flames regarding Trump. Democrats have been crying wolf since the 2nd Tuesday of November 2016.

Name one theory that went up in flames. And then go look up the meaning of the metaphor you obviously don't understand.

You and your entire Right Wing propaganda machine was just owned by the facts after a week of them spitting nails and pulling their hair out over allegations about a secret society based on... (drum roll) .... text messages no one had seen.

And less than 1 week later, after that theory was decimated by the release of the texts, you're just shifting the conspiracy theory into another area, desperately trying to find facts to support the same theory because all that matters is discrediting the FBI to save Lord Trump. The GOP is just constantly implying that elusive data, somehow, in some unexplained way, supports Nunes' bogus theory about the FBI conspiring against Trump. So they want to release a memo written by the same idiots who come up with these dumb theories to begin with all the while denying the release of the memo provided by Democrats. Yeah, there is obviously a partisan bias going on here, but it isn't within the FBI.

here is 1 - that Trump colluded with Russia.
here is 2 - sexual assault allegations against Trump (the ones that conveniently popped when Russia claims failing).
here is 3 - that in spite of winning Ellis Island in 1986, Trump is a racist xenophobe (an award thet Hillary Clinton also won in 1999).

should we continue or do you need to google something?

Yawn....tell me how the real secret society is big fat white guys who control the Oscars, Grammys, and Coal...but not Pelosi....fat rich white women are obviously exempt....because they let fat rich colored women be spokesperson (a.k.a. dancers for the people).

Honestly, I do not hold any real conspiracy theories beyond the reality that the Georgia school system is consistently producing morons.

Fixed it for ya

Aww...the Democrats still suck at politics. How ironic.

here is 1 - that Trump colluded with Russia.

That isn't "my theory" at all, and I've said on a number of occasions that he probably didn't. But that doesn't mean he didn't try. We already know his campaign tried. This is an indisputable fact. Strike one.
here is 2 - sexual assault allegations against Trump (the ones that conveniently popped when Russia claims failing).

None of the sexual assault allegations have been disproved. And when Ivana said her husband raped her after he returned home from a horrible hair transplant procedure, this was literally decades before any Russia investigation. Strike two.
here is 3 - that in spite of winning Ellis Island in 1986, Trump is a racist xenophobe (an award thet Hillary Clinton also won in 1999).

This probably has more evidence supporting it than any other allegation. Calling these "failed theories" just makes you seem dumber than you already are. Strike three.
should we continue or do you need to google something?

Still waiting for a valid example of failed theories.
