In fairness, people make a weird distinction between believing God is literally talking to you (not Ok) and believing God is communicating with you through vague impressions (A-Ok) all the time.

The real issue here is most people had no idea about the first statement until the Faux outrage machine decided to make it a story because outrage. Bach and subbed are demanding an opinion about the subject that fits into narrowly defined options that feed a idiotic narrative. My opinion on the subject is why give a damn about any of it? Because I don't. I do think the faux outrage machine that is being demonstrated here, however, is damaging. It's a fools game played at the expense of all who enter into it on the terms presented.

Simple enough premise - Pence says he listens to Jesus and Oprah listens to God.... is the hypocrisy veiled in some sort of trinity dispute?

There is an actual point in the O.P. worth responding to? Let me take a step back and make sure I understand it.

Somebody by the name of “liberal queen Behar” says something to the effect that since Mike Pence thinks Jesus speaks to him on a regular basis, he might be mentally ill. In contrast, Oprah Winfrey says God did NOT tell her to run for president—at least not yet. Therefore, all liberals everywhere are hypocrites, and this hypocrisy is a serious issue that deserves a serious discussion here, which is what Bach was trying to start in the OP.

And all of this has something to do with a daytime TV?

Unlike Bach, I have a business to run and don’t have time to sit around watching daytime TV, so I hope you can forgive me for needing some time to catch up on this and understand what the alleged issue is.
It’s relatively easy to agree that only Homo sapiens can speak about things that don’t really exist, and believe six impossible things before breakfast. You could never convince a monkey to give you a banana by promising him limitless bananas after death in monkey heaven.

I just want to say that Oapreh and I are really close friends. We have dinner regularly.

Given the blatant hypocrisy of Republicans, that hypocrisy and bad faith arguments are de rigueur to them, it makes sense that the moment one of their lemmings notes something from a professed liberal that smacks of hypocrisy, they'll be all over it, hoping to distract from the outrageous hypocrisy they all support in their party.

Does Bach listen to his god? He sure sounds mentally ill, so it wouldn't surprise me.

How can you be certain that Bach is an actual person rather than a repetitive A.I. program?

What I find hilarious is that people like subbachfaps actually think that everyone else is a shallow as them and that everyone automatically supports or opposes someone based on which of our 2 main political parties they claim to be affiliated with. That, and I know nothing about "liberal queen behar" but I can only assume she said something bad about another person with an R next to their name so she must be "stupid liburl!!" in the myopic minds of our barely literate mouth breathing RINO posters who seem to spend their days clouding their tiny brains with right wing rage materials and then regurgitating them (incoherently) on various message boards. You guys really need a new hobby beyond unsuccessfully pretending to be the non-losers that you are at life.

That said, anyone who spends time talking to and taking instructions from invisible or imaginary beings (ghosts, gods, leprechauns, talking cats, etc.), likely has a mental glitch. If you are ok with the fact that someone speaks with and takes instructions from invisible beings because they have an R next to their name, you are a tool who should probably not be allowed outside (but, hey, you do get to vote, hence Donald "the cheeto" Trump) . If you spend your time getting angry enough about what a couple of talk show hosts say to rant incoherently and repeatedly on a small LDS themed message board about it you probably need to rethink the decisions you have made that have led you to this point in your life.
