Youthful hyper-sensitivity? You're painting Dan with the wrong brush here (pun intended). I've seen him be a jackass at times, but no less so than other older adults here (present company included). And I've never known him to boast of his talents at art or anything else. So what the hell is this comment about?
Well you've missed a few episodes then, Kevin. If you're really inclined, you can find exactly what I'm talking about pretty easy.
I'm sure he'll do a good job if he sticks with the issues. A little self-awareness rather than defensiveness will only help him as a politician, not hurt him.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
Awesome! I hope he wins - He always struck me as a fair and decent man - and he certainly isn't lacking in the passion department so politics might be a good fit for him.

There goes any chance that he had of winning an election. Nice job Kevin - I'm sure he really appreciates it!
Kevin: thank you for posting this. Fascinating. On the one hand, it doesn't surprise me at all that Mak has political ambitions. On the other hand, I hope he realizes what he's getting himself into. As Dr. Robbers indicated, this is someone who hasn't always shown the most self-awareness. He is also somebody with skeletons in his closet--something true of everyone, to be sure, but Maklellan's skeletons are out in there in the open--including his dabbling in forgery. I can't imagine that doing him any favors as he campaigns in that particular district.
Good luck to him, regardless.
