You don't need Jesus or any human sacrifice to receive the forgiveness of sins from an invisible god. The blood of animals or that of a human such as Jesus do not cleans sins. I challenge any believer to give us objective proof that belief in Mormon Jesus or Catholic Jesus or Protestant Jesus makes one bit of difference. It is entirely subjective and really not any different than belief in the "secret" nonsense that was a craze a few years back. It is no different than belief that a bracelet has certain magical powers or that God speaks to a young man via a rock. In fact, I would venture to guess that belief in the imaginary actually causes harm. The religious seem to be overly occupied with a future life to the point of not dealing with real life issues. There seems to be a tendency to give up too early on issues such as the poor and hungry because Jesus will somehow right the wrongs in some imaginary future world.

Mormons teach that all of us are literally the brothers and sisters of Jesus. We lived with him in the preexistence as spirit children of a Father who is called God and our literal parent.

Why on earth would I want to bow down before Jesus, my own brother? Why would I want to worship him? What for? Furthermore, why would my own brother want me to bow down before him and worship him? Why would my own father want me to bow down and worship him? Why? What's the point of worshipping someone? Is it to make them feel extra special and important? Is it their way of showing that they are more powerful than me?

So, I'm supposed to drop to my knees and worship these people? I do not want to worship them! I'm not bowing my knees to nobody. That's just ridiculous. I don't need or want that kind of garbage in my life, thank you. And the holy ghost gives me the creeps.

Mormons preach that you can't be forgiven for wrong doing unless you bow the knees and worship. You must apply the blood atonement or the Father will not forgive you of a single thing and you can't live with him.
