Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend.

It's life-changing.

I empathize with your story a lot, Meadowchik. I was always bold and outspoken on a lot of subjects, but fell into a pattern of submissiveness to certain men in my life, especially men I was romantically entangled with. Looking back over my marriage, I see that I fell into a pattern of submission to what he wanted. Sure, he would give me what I wanted *if* he didn't care. But if he cared about something, he always got his way.

Much later, we got to a point in his affairs when I was doing some pick-me dance, Love-Dare-esque bullcrap. I had grabbed a Pina Colada SoBe and a Milky Way bar (they were his favorites), just a little something to show that I loved him and was still there.

He came to my place and announced pretty early on that I was "repulsive" and "disgusting." He picked up our infant son and said, "Do you see this here? This is the only reason I have anything to do with you." He sat down for a bit, ate the Milky Way, guzzled the SoBe, threw the garbage on my floor, and left.

I looked down at that garbage, and something inside me Snapped. Leaving him was a process, but one thing is for sure: I never bought him a candy bar or a SoBe again.

Divorcing out of a toxic relationship is the answer, if the other party won't change. Good for you! That step must have been tough.

Obviously this guy wasn't showing this side of himself when you two were dating? What factors do you think caused him to morph into this Tucker Max person?

One of the primary reasons for getting my kids out at a very early age.

I did not want my daughters being groomed to be a Mormon wife.

My two oldest daughters were very relieved when I told them of my doubts and leaving the church. They had been discretely rolling their eyes about the church for years.

Personal; You don't need to answer...

Did they followed You?

They were already mentally out. My oldest finally found the nerve to admit she was agnostic about 2 weeks after I told her. My other teen daughter could not believe it but was so happy to be able to finally be open about her feelings.

My oldest son still believes and I take him to church, the youngest 4 kids were pretty indifferent and love staying home on Sundays. I feel fortunate that most of them were spared the heavy indoctrination because of us moving around internationally. Foreign-language church cannot possibly imprint the same as it would in English, even though they did eventually learn the languages. My believing son, however, is an Aspie. Once taught the basic beliefs before 8, his mental framework was heavily dependent on Mormonism, compared to his siblings.

Once a man has attained Priesthood superpowers he must preside over women. Because these so-called "Women" were less valiant during the Heaven War, they received the curse of the double X chromosomes, and that makes all the difference. The presence of these double X chromosomes signals that while they are still the Children of God, they may not receive the sacred ordinances of the Priesthood. However, the presence of the double X chromosomes enables them to be good helpmates and mothers. So it balances out in the end, but with the scale tipped in favor of the XY chromosome combo and the resultant ability to attain Priesthood superpowers.

Hope that helps.
