That's not true. That's a lie. You're interested in spouting.

So spout.

Do you think it's possible to love you but hate your homosexuality? Or is your homosexuality such an integral part of who you are that it's not possible to hate one and love the other?

Now, we all know that religious belief is more changeable than sexual orientation. But does that really matter? Could we not also say that Jersey Girl's religious faith is such an integral part of her that it is impossible to love one and hate the other? And if that's true, might it not be hypocritical to say that love is all one needs and to express hate for Jersey Girl's faith at the same time?

Let's go to square 1, shall we?

Moses via Jehovah used to stone homosexuals. There is no love in that. None. Moses was an abominable tyrant and a murderer. Jehovah was a cult god who ruled through fear, intimidation, and murder. There is nothing redeemable about Moses & Jehovah.

Yes, by all means, go to square 1. Don't respond to any of the points that were made in the above post or any other post.

You might say I returned the favor. How many assertions have I made and questions posed in this thread and he has not responded to them?!

JLHPROF is a coward and has failed to render any kind of intelligent response to what I've said. If you can't see that, you're blind, or rather, you're a raving Christian that is mad because I've rattled you.

Yes, I've rattled you. You don't need Jesus Christ, Jersey Girl!

You don't!

Rattled me? That's fully laughable when you consider the fact that you are fulfilling Biblical prophecy before my very eyes.

Christians love to go around and tell people all you need is love, their God's love through Christ. The Bible and Christians of many stripes are on record of telling people that if they don't do it the Bible's way then they are going to burn in hell. Thus we see they preach love and they preach hellfire at the same time and threaten unbelievers with death.

I'm saying all you need is love. I've not said anything about hellfire and death against those who refuse to disagree with me. But the Christians do! Just read the Bible or the Book of Mormon!

Enjoy your monologue.

I said exactly what I felt inspired to say. I did not feel a need to respond to every facet of his argument but to state what I consider to be the core foundation to every good thing which is love.

This thread is simple. I don't need Jesus and neither do you. I'm a missionary in reverse testifying to others that the love of Jesus is not necessary for happiness and well being. The blood of Jesus is not necessary to forgive and be forgiven. The myth and dogma of religion and all the garbage it produced is outdated Dark Aged nonsense.

If you don't want to hear the answers, it's best not to ask the questions.

OK, would you mind connecting square one to the square where I asked you the questions and then answering them?

What you've posted on this thread is bigoted hate speech. Do you recall reading ldsfaqs bigoted and hateful comments regarding gays? I know you read them because you responded to them.

Congratulations. You're the new faqs!

But the Christians do!

Do they? The Christians preach to you about hellfire and death?

Storytime! You'll never believe this, but I swear on my Pug it's true.

Years ago, we had an LDS apologist on this board who was very well known in these online circles. Really good apologist. No one could touch him on his topic. Good family man. The whole entire TBM package.

He eventually returned to this board as a divorced apostate.

Something was really bothering him. He was gay and he wanted folks around here to know it. He wanted to be his authentic self and I suppose, be able to address gay issues. You know, things like religious views about homosexuality, bigotry, intolerance.

You'll never guess what happened. I pow wowed with him behind the scenes. I helped him come out to the board. Smooth as butter, right in Off Topic. Unbelievable, right?

I can't recall a single second of my life spent preaching to him about hellfire and death. I simply responded to his need as a friend would respond.

So don't go around telling me what "the Christians" do, buddy. You're preaching to the choir that knows better what "the Christians" do.

And here you are posting religious intolerance on the board and claiming all we need is love.

So ironic, right? I mean, I stop just short of calling it hypocritical.

Oh wait, I don't.

Hypocrite.
