Religious zealots will kick and scream when their faith is questioned or attacked. Look at Jersey Girl! She's practically lost all reason because she's so upset. She can't even think straight. I've seen the trickery in her posts too -- she's can be quite deceptive, cunning, and sly. And no, I'm not going to give examples or explain it. Not going to waste my time doing that. But I will accuse her of that and let it piss her off. I don't care.

But, I've pointed out on this thread, that it's religion that does the attacking. Hellfire and threats of death are main staples of the Bible and Book of Mormon. Christians love to hang that sword over the heads of everyone.

Yeah, there are there are some contradictory passages in the Bible that seem almost schizophrenic in nature. On balance, the message of loving one another, forgiving and showing mercy supersedes all the rest. All you need is LOVE.

The Bible teaches that the great commandment is to love the god of the Old Testament with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. That is the commandment of the CULT. That is the command to love a cult god that delights in blood and murder.

But I say unto you to LOVE yourself first and to love yourself with every part of your being and to do so independently of all other things.

The Bible teaches you need Jesus to forgive and be forgiven.

But I say unto you to forgive yourself and live so that others will want to forgive you too. You don't need Jesus to forgive others. You don't need Jesus to be forgiven. You don't need cult doctrines that encourage you to drink blood and eat flesh symbolically to the glory of a man who glorified the god of the Old Testament.

All you need is love.

She does’t believe in murdering gay folks, so why are we even talking about that in relation to her?

She believes in the God of the Old Testament and his prophet Moses who murdered plenty of gay folks. Hence, Jersey Girl is part of the problem. She's just as guilty in my eyes because she esteems a murderer as being divine.

The New Testament doesn't save the Old Testament, neither does it condemn it. They are combined as one in her hand and both bear witness to the same murderous God.

Frankly, I think Jersey Girl is a hypocrite. A Christian hypocrite, mind you. Very typical. Christians make the best hypocrites.
