Paul & Jesus were two peas in a pod. I don't think Jesus liked gays one bit. In fact, there is only evidence to support that he condemned them and reserved them for biblical judgment.
"Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city."
Have you any evidence to show Jesus condoned homosexuals or their places of establishment? Have you any evidence to show that Jesus condemned Jehovah's capital punishment towards gays?
No, I don't think you do. So shut up.
You are ignorant of the Bible, particularly how the reported entrance of Jesus in to human history interfaces with the Old Testament accounts. The Old Testament is littered will God's condemnation and judgements of the Hebrews. No really, go look it up.
Read it this time.
You asked if I have evidence to show Jesus condoned homosexuals or their places of establishment. What places of establishment are you talking about? I have asked you repeatedly if Jesus condemns homosexuality in the New Testament. A question that you are unable to answer with intellectual honesty. It's not an essay question. It requires only a simple "yes" or "no".
Since you are unable to answer truthfully because it will upset your so-called agenda here. I'll have to do it for you. Jesus made NO distinction regarding sexual orientation. He never once spoke of it, much less did he condemn it. That people misunderstand the scripture they read isn't cause for you to condemn them when you could be teaching them the truth and advocating for gays and straights in the very church that you left.
Did it ever cross your mind that your work wasn't done yet? Did it ever cross your mind that there might be a more worthy and valuable "mission" for you in life besides slamming up raving hate posts on a message board?
Have I got any evidence to show that Jesus condemned Old Testament capital punishment towards gays? As I said, Jesus made NO distinction based on sexual orientation. You seem overly focused on the Old Testament Mosaic and Levitical laws that only pertain to gays. Those laws were directed towards a great many groups for various violations.
Recall that Jesus is reported as saying that he came to fulfill the Law. It's in the book. The New Testament part. If you want to know if he condemned capital punishment on account of sexual sins? Yes, don't you know where to find it?
It's right in the whole of John chapter 8 where Jesus is directly confronted with Mosaic Law, over rides, and shames those attempting to act on it.
You quoted a passage about Sodom and Gomorrah. I can try to make a case for Sojourner's law violations in that regard.
Why can't you?
Why can't you advocate for your own LGBTQ community in the face of your old church community? You could do that. But instead you settle for unproductive and useless blathering.
