subgenius wrote:your post is dense. I'm not justifying anything, I'm pointing out the ignorance in your own declaration. Your expectation of morality and scruples being somehow relevant to the American political arena is terribly naïve and, honestly, unjustified by history. I go to church, family, and friends for morality not the polls.
Yes, you are justifying your Republican Party. You didn't like the fact that I pointed out their utter hypocrisy and what the consequences are going to be. It obviously irked you, and you had to come and pontificate about it as all Republicans do.
And, you stupidly missed the whole point of my post and made it all about justifying what the Republicans are doing because you claim the Democrats you hate were doing the same things.
But I didn't vote for Bill Clinton, I voted for George Bush. You don't know me, and your idiotic conclusions are inept and off the mark. The Republicans were all over Clinton for his morals, and spoke up long and loud back then, but now they are silent as tombs cause it's one of their own. They are hypocrites. Just like you.
And I don't have any expectations when it comes to politicians, another thing you got totally wrong. I'm not the one who made it a tenant of their party, their "family values". They did. You are trying to put it on me. Once again, you simply look stupid. Red herring much? Keep lobbing them out there, it only shows you know nothing about history, or much of anything else, including comprehension skills.
