I follow most news about the Trump investigation avidly, but I did not watch the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 minutes.

Why? First, I pretty much knew everything that was going to be said. People watch to see the way that it is said, to try to glean information from inflection and nuance. From the little pieces I have seen on news shows, she doesn't ACT coked up.

But at this point I feel just kind of beaten down by the pathetic sight of Porn Stars, Playmates and President. It's dreary. Trump is a transactional animal. So is Ms. Daniels. If you ask me, their sex was a power transaction between the two of them. It was a man who uses power to get sex with a woman who uses sex to get power. It's sorry and sad that this is a part of the makeup of our President. People find it ironic that Melania Trump is active against bullying, given that her husband is such a bully. I think one of the reasons she does it is to be a model for her son Barron. It is an exhortation to her son "Don't be like your father." Imagine going to school with a kid whose father is President, who your parents can't stand. Add the ammunition that President has slept with a porn star and a Playmate. That's got to be a tempting target for a kid Barron's age. I feel for Barron Trump.

And ultimately I am not so interested in sex as I am the $130,000 payoff.

Once again, this was a story that appeared as a simultaneous talking point on right-wing websites. It was their attempt at discrediting her. On a side note, President George W. Bush's pupils dilated when he read the word coke.

This was 60 Minutes most viewed episode in the last decade.

Depending on the studio lighting it can have an effect on pupil dilation. If there is low lighting v. high lighting, that would produce such an effect. Also, emotions can affect pupil dilation. With Stormy's interview, her emotions were running high due to all the pressure she is feeling. That can alter her pupil size even if the lighting was normal.

From watching some journalists being interviewed on CNN today over the Daniels 60 Minutes show, at least one of the guys had the same dilated pupils as Stormy had on Sunday. So, I wouldn't read too much into it.

If not the lighting, I would chalk it up to her emotions running high. "In addition to controlling the amount of light that enters the eye, your pupils can also change size in response to emotional stimuli. If you're mad or afraid or even in love, your pupils can change in size as your body feels these emotions."

One has to wonder the last time Stormy had to keep those silicone filled features upright for a three to four hour taping. The rigging that must have been arranged undoubtedly cut off a lot of blood flow. I mean let’s be real here, this is not a posture she is used to in all her filming. She was a real trooper to hoist those silicone globes for as long as she did. May be the first time she was on camera where some young strong stud wasn’t doing all the heavy lifting.

The conservative talking point attack should have focused on her silicone implants rather than her pupils. No photoshopped pictures would be needed, and more importantly, no one would have to fib and say they noticed her eyes just to pacify their wives.
