So I believe all late term abortions should be illegal, and they already are. A woman who is 7 months pregnant cannot go to a clinic anywhere in the USA and get an abortion because she just decided on a whim that she doesn't want to be a Mom anymore. This is the perception people get when reading the idiotic propaganda from the Religious Right. But it just doesn't happen.

And stop pretending "millions" of babies are being killed every year. At best we're talking about a few hundred annually and these happen because of medical complications. If you really believe a person is created the second the sperm meets the egg (all the "ingredients" are there!) and you really want to howl at the moon about all these "people" being slaughtered in the womb, then you should really complain to God since roughly 15% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage due to no fault of the mother.

That's ~20,000,000 god-induced abortions, by the way. That's in addition to ~60,000,000 god-designed deaths.

God don't give a flying fetch about human deaths. He's the architect of all death.

He asked a question and I answered, I never said it was an argument.

I did not say it was an argument either...simply echoed your own dismissal as it applies to your own baseless assertion.

cute how now you say it is an argument immediately after you try a rebuttal of "I never said it was an argument".

notwithstanding your lack of brevity to support some sort of something, you still have not escaped the baseless assertion. Your citation only supports a notion that during fetal development there is a time when pain perception emerges...this does not support a claim for life or for consciousness - which was your assertion....your baseless assertion, which still remains as such.

So, as you stated above - "He asked a question and I answered", yes, you answered but you answered with the same sort of baseless assertion that you claimed was offered by the poster.

Unless, so now you are asserting (or is it going to later be your argument?) that life begins at pain...which i will admit has a certain poetry to it, but it is a baseless assertion inasmuch as you and your citation have only proved when pain begins, or as you put it - "That isn't an argument it is an assertion that is supported by nothing."
