I'd love it if ABC would create that situation where the message to Barr was "In your face girlfriend. You're OUT and we're not going anywhere".

And they did. And she's out. And they aren't.

Just a few weeks after canceling "Roseanne" after the show's star Roseanne Barr posted racist and bizarre tweets, ABC says it is keeping the show alive -- without Barr.

"The Conners" is the working title of the re-rebooted sitcom.

It will be a "spinoff" of "Roseanne," the network announced Thursday night.
"Roseanne Barr will have no financial or creative involvement in the new series," ABC said in a press release.

Just as a bonus aside comment, I love how her follow up tweets were all like "Don't worry about me, guys". You know what, worrying about her was the last thing that crossed my mind. I instantly mentally slammed the door in her face and walked away, like taking the trash out. I can't recall the last time I worried about the well being of a blatant and repulsive racist.

Look how Cosby's show has been pulled from the planet. That's really not fair to the remainder of the cast who contributed to a world class popular show. With Roseanne, they have the ability to retrieve the show without her and let the cast enjoy success--not to mention the income.

Considering at one point they used a different actress for the daughter, there is precedent!

Can you imagine being so obsessed with race that you'd take the time to research someone's ethnicity because you couldn't tell what it was just by looking at them?

I love how the smell coming out of Drumpfland is that Samantha Bee's offense is on the same level as Roseanne's.

Get this, guys. I just watched a short update on this. Apparently Roseanne issued a tweet to her co-stars, Gilbert and Fishman (?) who criticized her racist Twitter remarks. In it, she says "I forgive you".

Omg. She actually said that.
