I found this fascinating. Is conservative or liberal really just in our genes? I guess the leftists on this board better put Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levine on their list of websites forbidden to their children. Even non white kids are not immune to being Hannitized.
A conservative college student leader determined to "Make Stanford Great Again" is the son of Obama administration official Susan Rice – and says his parents might have put him on a right-leaning path by listening to Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin.
According to the College Fix, which first reported on John David Rice-Cameron's divergent political path from his mom, the controversial former national security adviser to President Barack Obama, and dad, Ian Cameron, a former ABC News producer and executive, the split is amicable.
"They believe extensively in debate and engaging the other side and exposing people to different viewpoints," he told the outlet. Both parents are Stanford grads.
"Sometimes my dad would listen to Rush Limbaugh, and he would kind of argue with him," the 20-year-old Stanford University sophomore added. "I just found myself agreeing with basically everything Rush Limbaugh was saying."
In an interview with Fox News, Rice-Cameron said he and his mother "have a great relationship."
"We disagree on most of the standard Republican/Democrat disagreements," he added. "However, we agree that America is the greatest nation the world has ever seen, and thus, we believe that America has an important role to play as a force for liberty and justice on the world stage."
According to Fox News, Rice-Cameron hosted expert on radical Islam Robert Spencer, pushed for a professor with ties to Antifa to resign, pressured the school to reverse its decision on banning American flags on their club t-shirts, and Tuesday, hosted a recently hosted Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens for a "Make Stanford Great Again!" event.
"I salute John David Rice-Cameron; a young man committed to liberty," Levin wrote on Facebook.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
"The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization." - Will Durant "We've kept more promises than we've even made" - Donald Trump "Of what meaning is the world without mind? The question cannot exist." - Edwin Land
How is it that an article that presents the family unity and commitment to debate that is stronger than partisan politics didn't get through to you, ajax? WTF? "Better not let your kids listen to Rush, leftists. Because the Rice family can disagree on politics, be cool with their son having very different political views than they have, and find plenty of room for agreement. Yeah."
damned Jesus.

It sort of reminds me of a Mormon missionary who goes to do spiritual battle with an anti Mormon and finds himself agreeing with what the anti Mormon is saying.
Do you think Mr. Cameron regrets listening to Rush Limbaugh with his son in the car?

What does this say about conservative and liberal being genetic?

What does it say about our other conversation regarding the ability to find common ground? It seems intelligent people can disagree amiably over important issues because they share a common view that somethings are even more important.

As someone who rejected religion at a very young age, I never once thought I would restrict what information my children could listen to.
To this day, I wouldn't preemptively tell my daughter what she can and can't read. I don't want her to be an idiot. I trust she's smart enough to come to her own conclusions. I let her go to church for years. She's now claimed atheism all by herself.
Do you not let your kids read/listen to things you don't agree with, ajax?
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
