Sarah Sanders kicked out of Virginia Restaurant
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders acknowledges in a tweet that she was asked to leave a Virginia restaurant Friday night.
Sanders says she was told by the owner of The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, that she had to "leave because I work for @President and I politely left."
Sanders says the event says far more about the owner of the restaurant than it does about her.
She says, "I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so."
Sanders' treatment at the restaurant has created a social media commotion with people on both sides weighing in to provide their critique of the incident.

Why not put up a fuss and resist arrest? Why not shame the company into making their managers have sensitivity training? Why doesn't the ACLU have a problem with this? In America it's perfectly fine to discriminate against people for holding conservative beliefs or working for a Republican president but not ok to ask someone to leave if he is black or gay.

And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

But, just to be clear you support the businessman's freedom to do so, no?

I would Doc in country with equal treatment under the law. But we don't have that now.
I respect Sarah Sanders for politely leaving. We know what kind of people would put up a fuss, get the police involved, burn down the city in response to bigoted actions as this etc. I've become quite reactionary to the way the pendulum has been swinging. I feel like if you don't stand up for your rights you soon won't have any. This is probably what has led me to views that many would call racist. But in a way I kind of respect the way Martin Luther King was willing to fight and sacrfice quite a bit over rather minor things like being asked to leave a store or shop elsewhere. He understood that if you don't fight for your rights you soon won't have any. I wish white people would learn this as well. General Jackson certainly understood it. He was willing to die for it.

I would leave as well. I usually try to avoid food tainted with bodily fluids.

Did the gay couple politely go elsewhere?

I cannot stand this woman. I think she is a liar who has sold her soul. But if she were to sue this restaurant I'd support her.

Do you really think many who are refused didn't go politely somewhere else? Might not be wise to eat that cake, but those who refuse are doing it to protect everyone's rights.

I agree it was wrong to refuse her because of her political opinions.
