Re: Fear Of The Left.......
No. The point Chap made was that race and social status have consequences for a person's ability to climb the opportunity ladder. It's a fact. A true fact at that. And so I said, "Exactly." Apparently you take issue with the associated facts behind the original statement and agreement with it.

That's crazy, ceebs. Part of chaps comment explicitly noted how the type of rhetorical game involved in what you said is a form of blame shifting and then you went right after it. Wow.

How about this then.......I will admit that I am a blame shifting white privileged closet racist fact denier and you must stop your continued attempts to defend Chap's contributions in this thread to me.......Because watching that go down is literally making me sick to my stomach.
Deal?
You literally don't believe that a person's race or the economic status they are born into affects that person's ability to climb up a rung or two? And you believe acknowledging that is perpetuating racism? If you want to say yes, that's exactly what you think then you can make that the last word on the issue because there is no reasoning with that.

Re: Fear Of The Left.......
I'm completely baffled by your position, ceebs. If a person's ancestral background has negative impacts on someone's ability to rise to the level of their ability, how is refusing to acknowledge that the underlying biases and prejudices that are the cause of this NOT making a mockery of the ideal that all are able to rise to whatever heights they are capable? And that it is precisely that denial that fills the vacuum behind it with blame that the better explanation for their status is their own inabilities and negative traits? Give me some alternative explanation here. Because I really don't see what it is you are saying in regards to what chap got wrong.
