You just came out in favor of severe physical neglect and psychological abuse of children if it deters people seeking asylum. Can you explain why you think that's OK, but not simply gassing them?

The Nazis did not start out gassing people in concentration camps. That came later. If you believe that people only look low upon concentration camps because of the gassing part, you're quite mistaken. Our current internment camp situation both meets the technical definition of what a concentration camp is and carries with it the kind of traits people might think of when they have negative feelings about concentration camps.

regardless of color, it's the "illegal" activity that somehow seems offensive, especially since my parent legally came to this country and earned the privileges received, and often sustained personal sacrifice in order for me and my brother to both claim our rights and earn privilege.
