Dumb and Dumber (Drumpf and Drumpfer)

One of the weirdest things you'll hear people say is how we shouldn't be fooled into thinking Drumpf is an idiot. This idea reminds me of Dumb and Dumber, when the dude working for the kidnappers thought Lloyd and Harry were good at staying ahead of them and not giving up the case full of cash. Yet we (as movie watchers) all knew they were idiots who were bumbling their way to Colorado and had no idea what they were doing.

That movie is the perfect analog for this administration. Drumpf is not clever. He's a moron who other morons think is great. That's the whole story. He's bumbling through his term with no clue how to do the job, and his base loves him for it. Maybe some Drumpf supporters are fans of incompetence, because it makes them feel better about their own performance.

Does anyone really think he's smarter than he appears? (Granted - he appears incredibly stupid, and that should be easy to beat, but alas... Drumpf).
