It appears Ceeboo only deleted comments from this thread. for what it's worth, so maybe he's not gone from MDB but just this thread.

It's like you, doc. You hate when people point out what a moron you are, and what do you do in response? Prove the point.
Stupid is what stupid does.
I think you're projecting, as usual. I've oft stated that I'm of average intelligence at best, and punching way above my weight class at worst. You, otoh, are a little bully and the worst kind of internet tough guy who is completely oblivious to your faults, smug beyond any justifiable reason to be so, and you're short. Your small man syndrome is so obvious and pathetic it would normally evoke sympathy, but you're kind of like the transient who openly crap s on a public sidewalk. Sure you're to be pitied, but you're so consistently foul and antisocial one sort of hopes you overdose so the crap ting ceases.
That's you.

Because he could not successfully engage in arguments, he kicked over the table. Many of us have felt the impulse. A vacation from the board wouldn't hurt anybody. I hope he comes back.
I tried to engage with ceeboo when he first came back, but he would always avoid people's reasonable questions to understand his position and why he thought it was the right position. After that I tended to avoid engaging with him until just lately. Not sure why other then he doesn't seem to have put good thought into his positions.

in my opinion, the thesis of Ceeboo's OP was proven by the thread. Which I said I'm not sure how many pages back, and which is why I declined further comment thereafter. What a crap show.

He led off with something someone else wrote that other people disagreed with. Boo effing hoo. That describes a helluvalot of threads here. It wasn't about that. He led off with something that was a pile of culture war alarmism. When that was pointed out he didn't like it.

You really think that's why he departed the thread, Mak? Really?

Did anyone here read his final post before he deleted them all? If so, what did he write about?

Since you ask this question, I think the problem is along these lines: Ceeboo wants to dish it out (as in his opening post, where he quoted a very aggressive expression of a strongly conservative position, with which he evidently agreed), but when people respond with equal strength he wants to be allowed to shift to a passive-aggressive 'why can't you just play nicely?' posture.
People call him out on this, and he has a personality melt-down. I suspect a board like this is not a good place for him to be. Perhaps further discussion might be inappropriate.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
