I just find it odd that an Aussie would initiate a seemingly critical, and possibly condemning, post on the subject of a person using sex for any gain. Such judgmental prudence seems misplaced.

Comrade Butina is being patriotic using her body for the greater good of Russia. The ladies in Brisbane are using their bodies to save to buy an apartment or pay off their university fees. Many are also from China here on a working holiday preferring this activity to that of picking fruit. Regulation also means that the Government gets some taxes, police don't have to waste time raiding premises and girls are required to use safe sex and also have checkups. No one with a criminal association is allowed to own a brothel. The newspapers also benefit with a page devoted to ads with the word "BUSTY" prominent in the ads. we have a Criminal Justice Commission which looks into corruption in administration. Today I watched the media waiting for a Mayor of my city being released on bail charged with assault and corruption. It was not a "witch hunt"
