Vote Bernie!

And this.

Contrast with Trump's speech at the rally in Florida yesterday. How to democrats expect to win? People's 401ks have increased by 40% since Trump entered office, but you think these same people will vote Trump out? DNC platform is impeachment, abolish ICE, higher taxes. Hmm.

Man you're stupid. .Most Americans don't have a 401k and where do you come up with this 40% increase figure? Oh, you just made that up? Yeah, thought so.

Water Dog thought it was a 280k that went up to 401K. That's what he gets for investing with Bernie Madoff.

S&P 500 was at 2,300 on the day Trump took office. Today it is 2,800, which is roughly a 20% increase. The DOW was 20,071 and now it is 25,333. That's roughly a 25% increase over 18 months, but anyone who started a 401k early 2017 has actually lost money since it went in correction mode.

Re: Vote Bernie!
I am voting Democrat for Congress and Senate this November because...
Don't want to go back to coal. Unlike Trump Republicans, Democrats accept the scientific evidence of climate change and want to do something about it.
Don't want cuts to Medicaid or Medicare.
Don't like the Trump tariffs.
Don't want mass deportion and want a DACA fix.
Oh, and it was "Conservative" Ann Coulter recently who called for the abolishment of the FBI. Link

If one thinks the Constitution is worth preserving, this is the only choice there is. Personally, I'd rather not have a thug dictator for President, trying to turn the country into an autocracy, no matter how idiotic, incompetent, and ineffectual he is. I'm pretty sure the Constitution was written to prevent that.

Re: Vote Bernie!
On Facebook back in November 2016 I remember many folks claiming to be Libertarian and Independents, bashing people who voted for Hillary simply because they were voting against Trump. They didn't like Trump either, but decided to vote for a third party candidate.
After 18 months I've noticed that several of these same people admit to being wrong and regret not voting for her. They will gladly vote AGAINST Trump instead of voting FOR something else. EA surprised me recently when he kinda indicated the same thing. It used to be considered political death knell for a candidate or party to encourage people to vote for them because they're NOT the other guy. But Trump seems to have changed the minds of many of those people, because he truly does represent a threat to our nation and democracy and ANYONE BUT Trump is a rational position for anyone to take.
Having said all that, people like Water Dog are idiots for mimicking Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh by pretending Democrats don't stand for anything other than "we're not Trump." But even if they were, that's still a great start.

Putting all policy aside, it's all anyone needs. To not understand why Drumpf sucks as President is to essentially be clueless about human nature. It's so obvious that pretty much anyone else would be better. I'd gladly accept Mitt Romney at this point. This is mostly about foreign relations and how bad this psychopath is to the US's standing in the world. America used to be a shining example of democracy. It's certainly what we've been pushing with our wars (if you enjoy the propaganda). Now the world's not sure if we're an autocracy, or if we're going to end up there eventually. What's with the dude with the crazy fake hair that's not as crazy as he is?
We can make America great again. Just need to get rid of the demented man-child.

One of the weirdest lessons in all of this is how irrelevant the President must be. I mean if a country's economy can continue to improve on "cruise control" while the President spends all his time on Twitter or on golf courses or at self-promotion rallies, then it really begs the question, "How important is the office of the President?"

That is one way to look at it, but I prefer to think that the citizens of this country are stepping up to keep the country going knowing it's now headed by an incompetent.
Your question is certainly worth considering.
