I disagree with the notion that Trump hasn't raised our taxes. President Trump has imposed tariffs. Link
The tarrifs might help America to negotiate better trade deals. We could end up benefiting more than we realized possible.

The debt is so huge after Obama that I doubt they'll ever pay it down. We could still get rid of social welfare programs and be back in the black in no time. The people robbing from our children and grandchildren are the ones collecting social security and disability.

Michael D. Cohen, President Trump’s former fixer, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to breaking campaign finance laws and other charges. He made the extraordinary admission that he arranged payments to two women “at the direction of the candidate,” referring to Mr. Trump, to secure their silence about affairs they said they had with Mr. Trump.
Mr. Cohen told a judge in United States District Court in Manhattan that the payments were “for the principal purpose of influencing the election” for president in 2016.
Mr. Cohen also pleaded guilty to multiple counts of tax evasion and bank fraud, bringing to a close a monthslong investigation by Manhattan federal prosecutors who examined his personal business dealings and his role in helping to arrange financial deals with women connected to Mr. Trump.

The idea that people don't favor your highly restrictive and cruel approaches to immigration policy don't believe in "enforcing our borders" is a strawman.
Gunnar wrote:Ajax, your anecdotal account of the opinions of one East German immigrant is totally irrelevant to what the majority of Democrats' attitude towards immigration and border security is or should be.

How about Schmo's view that borders between countries should be no different than borders between states?
Just out of curiosity Gunnar, do you believe people should be permitted to leave inheritances for their children? Or should all assets become property of the federal goverment at death to be redistributed? Do you have locks on your doors? If so, what gives you the right to have money and property when other people don't?
how can any sane person seriously dismiss the likelihood that Trump himself is guilty of serious wrongdoing? At the very least, Trump is guilty of such abysmally poor judgement in his choices of advisors and confidants that that in itself should disqualify him from holding any high, government position of any kind, let alone President!
You people who still blindly support Trump, do you seriously still believe he is innocent of serious wrongdoing, or do you just not care how guilty and dishonest he is or what he is guilty of, as long as he claims or seems to support what you are desperately determined to believe in?
Of course I believe that people should be permitted to leave inheritances for their children! What have I ever said that would lead you to believe otherwise?
Yes, of course I have locks on my doors! This is both for the safety of myself and my family and safeguarding my property from those who would take it from me without my permission.
