John McCain has passed away.
McCain was a good man in my opinion who was respectful towards Obama even though they disagreed.

You guys are only saying this because he voted to keep Onamacare and was an open borders proponent.

Regardless of politics, everyone (except Trump) respects McCain as a war hero. And I have no problem with McCain demanding answers on Benghazi.

He disavowed a racist smear campaign against Obama during the election. It feels weird that this is something that deserves praise since that should be such a low bar to meet, but it's considered laudable because we implicitly know not every Republican nominee would've avoided that. At the same time, he promoted a ludicrous conspiracy theory regarding ACORN engaged in mass fraud to steal the election for Obama. "Respectful" is relative, I guess.
McCain is a legitimate war hero and him just dying isn't a great time to to go through his parade of horribles - most of which relate to him being a neocon's neocon - but I do think McCain, man of unimpeachable integrity, is overblown.
