I still think he's just pissed at the 1%. Nothing else explains the inconsistencies, the lack of logic and how verbose he is at trying to justify himself. This says it all...

Why not? Y'all bitchin' about people not willing to explore the concepts of PragerU, or Peterson, or whomever, but the moment they do all you want to do is shut them down. It's the oddest thing...

You do NOT have the corner on the use of language, but you sure do try to shut it down. That's tyranny, and people universally reject it. That's probably one of the reasons why people recoil at SJWs, because they're slavishly devoted to a conformity of ideology and they try to shut down dissent.

Ain't gonna happen. That's extremism and as an egalitarian & meritocraticist I reject it.

Everything comes back to economics. To say otherwise shows a complete lack of, I dunno, reality. Everything comes back to labor and who gets to benefit from one another's labor.

Cam argues that it is gender, race, and sexual identity that bestow benefits, so how can that be? Consistency is really tough when ranting against the 1%.

I did. I've come to the conclusion watching Prager U is like watching a very drunk person getting increasingly angry about something they were watching on TV until they are shouting, and then talking about it like it involved everyone else in the room.

That video, for example, makes an argument that liberals are possibly worse racists than someone who is an outward White Nationalist because the view of liberals presented in the video is reduced to one conversation in one classroom regarding one event. In it, the woman narrating the story reduced the entire discussion of police discrimination and disproportionate responses in regards to black Americans down to a trope: Liberals claim facts don't matter when a white LEO shoots and kills a young black man.

This was put forward in a thread where the last 10 pages have been about the Republican establishment in Georgia systematically discriminating against minorities in order to reduce the number of likely Democrat voters and keep Georgia Red.

What can one think about it other than, "Ok, that's an interesting Rorshach test result..."

That could be. I guess I've come to think of Cam as a 1960s Southern Democrat. "If only the party would quit trying to push this civil rights thing we could rally more voters to the cause and take down the obviously irrational conservatives...who just happen to be more aligned with me on who the real racists are in the Country. I mean, who loves blacks more? The Yankee industrialists who never lifted a finger to help? Or the plantation owner providing three squares, a roof and a purpose?" That argument hasn't changed much.

The history on the board suggests the triggers racial issues bring up are rooted deeply enough I doubt even he could do more than confabulate why they cause the reaction they do and have done for as long as I've participated on the board. Same with whatever it is that causes him to seem very willing to go after women over the craziest things, whether it was this thread and your justifiable pride in your son's loyalty to his friend or the other incidents where one is left wondering where the “F” the curve ball came from. I have a particular incident involving MsJack and her ex in mind that still mystifies me.

I don't think it's rational, it has the signs of being something buried in his subconscious.

Oh. Well. Thank YOU, Lemmie and Honor, for telling me what I think. It helps to, you know, ignore what is being said and just color in the rest as if you were, say, a President attempting to color in a child's picture.

But hey, since we're telling each other what we think of one another, I'm not the one that self-segregates. You are. You are the hypocrites. Not me. Whatever guilt you're feeling, I sure hope coming to this board to work that out really helps you sleep at night. You purport to know better, but at the end of the day you go back to your little enclaves, pour yourselves a glass of wine (or in Honor's case water will do fine, thank you very much), and do nothing to disassemble the power structure that exists.

Note for the causal readers. Always pay attention to what people do, not what they say. You'll learn pretty quick that White Liberals are hands down the most racist, sexist, ethnically centrist people on earth, hence their obsession with categories and defining things in such a way it alleviates any responsibility on their parts to, you know, actually do anything that changes anything here on planet earth.
