The most obvious takeaway from that interview of Avenatti by Tucker Carlson is that Carlson is an incredibly ignorant, narcissistic fool and a Trump sycophant. He interviews people not to learn their views on things, but to impose his own views on them by talking over them and interrupting them when they try to answer his questions. If I were Avenatti, I would have walked out of the interview the first time Carlson broke the agreement to not talk over me and interrupt while trying to answer one of his questions.

Actually, I don't plan on thinking about it much more than I've already responded to here. The issue was raised in a...snide comment by WD. He doesn't deserve more time or attention than he's already gotten for it.

The implication in his comments were that Ms. Clifford can't be slut shamed because she's in the porn industry. This is the same guy who not long ago called me a cunt in Terrestrial and later said I deserved to be called a cunt because I was acting like one.

He probably thinks Stormy deserves to be "slut shamed" because he thinks she's a slut.

He obviously has problems.

Porn isn't as simple as "getting paid for sex." A porn star is getting paid to provide a service which is basically entertainment. Prostitutes provide a service directly to the customer they're having sex with. Porn stars work with other porn stars and they make movies, performing for their customers who are basically voyeurs. Their work mostly involves a lot of bad acting to go along with a few sex scenes.

Porn can also be more empowering for women because they are usually in control - some more or less than others depending on their fame.

Stormy Daniels in my mind is no more a prostitute than trophy wives like Melania Trump. Attractive women who marry old wealthy billionaires for their money. Who in their right mind believes she married him for his spunk and great hair? Or any quality other than his wealth.

I mean Trump obviously has a strong taste for porn stars anyway, so what's really the difference? The difference is that Stormy chose to indulge a celebrity moron one night, didn't get any monetary compensation for her time and she never returned his calls. Melania on the other hand has to keep demeaning herself by sleeping with this bag of crap every night of her life in order to maintain the lifestyle that was only afforded her because she sold her body to this old, orange, fat piece of human garbage.

I just think it is funny how Carlson gets all indignant about the morality of porn when he and his ilk are likely their biggest customers.

We obviously have a clear and demoralizing contrast; where there is religion, there is an allure to pornography.

I have to admit I stopped watching the interview early on. I shut it off about the time Carlson kept pushing Avenatti on if he was ok with Obama having had the FBI spy on a member of the opposition's campaign. Avenatti handled it poorly (Carter Page wasn't targeted because he was in Trump's campaign. The FBI began investigating intelligence that the Russians were seeking to influence the election which led them to Page and then to the Trump campaign. It should have been a bitch slap that shamed Carlson out of the gate for having screwed up so badly by bringing it up) Carlson was an idiot from the first word he uttered.
