Multiple anonymous sources say that is because the White House limited the scope of the FBI investigation while Trump tweeted out the exact opposite. Sounds legit.
Anyway, the Ramirez story seems on really solid ground as more evidence has come out. Ford's claims suffer from the problem most claims to intimate violence suffer from - the only evidence available rests on competing claims from alleged victims and alleged perpetrators. Ramirez on the other hand has some corroborative details. Oh, and there is the small matter of Kavanaugh lying his ass off.
Trump said he would let the Senate decide what to investigate and technically I suppose he's right. The White House requests the FBI investigate on behalf of the Senate, but the White House tells them what to investigate according to what the Senate requests. The Senate Republicans didn't want an investigation to go beyond the sexual assault allegations so they didn't talk to any of the 20+ people who could have corroborated Ford's testimony about his drinking.
But like I said in the thread I just started on this issue, I don't get why the FBI even bothered to interview Ramirez at all if they're not willing to follow up with potentially corroborating witnesses.
Fake news. Per CNN, new FBI report roughly a thousand pages long. Mark Judge alone was interviewed for 3 hours. From other sources, many leads followed. Lots of people who could supposedly provide corroboration interviewed, and they did provide corroboration, of Kavanaugh's reiteration of facts. One "witness," for instance, provided second-hand corroboration of the Ramirez allegations. FBI then interviewed the first-hand witness, who second hand witness supposedly heard this from, and that person refuted the allegation.
There is absolutely no reason to interview Ford and Kavanaugh again. Ford already stated she had nothing to add when she testified. And if she had anything more to add, nothing stopping her. Senate requested her therapy notes and medical records, she refused to provide. Senate requested polygraph recordings and notes, she refused to provide.

Why is so hard to be honest and simply admit - you got nothing. Less than nothing. Evidence this is manufactured. These allegations have been thoroughly vetted. There is nothing. Ford's a liar. Or, possibly, a nut who's being used by liars. Both, I think. Either way, presumption of innocence, so eat a bag of dicks, haters. Instead of dumping money into Ford's gofundme (over a million bucks now), you should be coming up with schemes to extend Ruth Bader Ginsburg's life. Clock is ticking.
