I've been entertaining this fantasy where someone sane primary's Drumpf and wins. Of course, that's related to my fantasy that there was a sane leader to be had in the GOP.
Would anyone even have a chance at this point? I think the party's too far gone. He feeds their insanity by encouraging their worst instincts. The symbiosis is too strong.

The incumbent is automatically the nominee, so no primary will take place (for the Republican party).
