Remember when the U3 unemploymet rate was bogus because a Democrat was president? Now that Trump inherited that economy, it's real again, I guess. The aggregate of approval polls find Trump about 10 points underwater. Why should we take a Rasmussen poll as gospel?
Nevermind you clinging yo an outlier poll, though. The most humorous thing is that 51% approval isn't all that good and typically is a sign of trouble heading into an election. But you're so conditioned to low numbers that you are citing it as downright spectacular.
The Democrat strategy to win the midterms should be to point out that Republicans plan on gutting Medicade because that's true and the public really, really doesn't like that. Of couse, they got to find a way to get the media to focus on that, and that seems like an uphill slog. Republicans virtually own national coverage topics unless they are tabloid friendly.

Which specific unemployment measure is being used is only important when making comparisons or absolute statements. Even if you use the U6 figure, it's pretty dang low at 7.1% (but appears to have dipped to 6.8% in October of 2000):

I think you misunderstand me. I think unemployment is objectively low. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy in messaging about it in right-wing media based on who is President.
So, what's your response. What's the strategy to win the mid-terms?
The number of people on food stamps has went down as well. Those mean Republicans are putting people back to work again. Vote Democrat and the government will provide all you need for free.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

This is a continuation of a trend that existed in the Obama years as a result of economic recovery that has nothing to do with Trump policy unless you count "avoid appointing nutbags to the Fed at least" a key Trump policy.
You repeatedly discounted employment numbers as bogus when Obama was president. Now all of a sudden they are legitimate?
A bet you won't go broke on: If a recession hits while Trump is president and unemployment spikes, unemployment numbers will again be fake news to Ajax.
