It's true I always thought the labor participation rate was a better measure than unemployment. Unemployment doesn't take into account the number of people getting on disability which seems to happen more when good paying jobs are not available.

For the record I still think the labor participation rate is a better gauge of the economy than the unemployment rate. I'm not sure that the unemployment rate being low has anything to do with Trump.
