Optics is the one thing Democrats can be counted on damned up. If they weren't so busy alienating the Middle they might've been able to secure a 7-2 Supreme Court. Unbelievable how blind my Party is to reality. Crazy.

Both parties are alienating the middle, Doc. Optics aren't exactly great whether one looks left or right.

More on topic, post-fight interviews are a minefield of strange comments where someone who has likely suffered some form of head trauma and just crested the top of a testosterone/adrenaline fueled fight response is given a mic and allowed to say whatever comes to mind. Even fighters known to be intelligent, level headed people have said some pretty crazy things at that moment. That the majority of people choosing to make a career in fighting, coming from a Midwestern wrestling background happen to be the type of person who would be pro-Trump is hardly surprising. That people who think the UFC is basically human cock-fighting are happy to see them proclaim their status as some form of "other" is also not surprising. Like sports in general, I find the moralizing about being pro-sport or anti-sport and use of it as a vehicle to judge someone to be silly. We're all still damned monkey brained tribal dummies either way.
