Which comes across like the Colbert writer locking her Twitter account, slinking back and claiming "sorry was just being sarcastic." This is a message board, not a private discussion. There is a group dynamic. Which also makes RI's comment, response, and group reaction to it all, quite ironic. My response to him was as much a response to others. I've got people spitting on my military service in here, calling me garbage and other things, and RI can't even take a little tease? A little tease, and he responds in the same fashion, makes it personal. Yes, I think we've established the truth of RI's comment. We are ____. And RI is as much a part of the problem as anybody else.
WD, it ain’t complicated. When you quote one of my posts in your response, that’s a post directed to me. If you don’t intend to direct your post to me, don’t include my words in your post. Or note that you’re not actually addressing me. It ain’t rocket science.
And my posts have literally nothing to do with the Colbert writer. I’m right here. I haven’t blocked my account. Or changed anything I’ve said. Or even erased any of my posts here to avoid being held accountable for my own words.
Let me put it in terms you have used here. Your attempt to shame me with others’ words is childish and disingenuous. I haven’t spit on your military service and I haven’t called you garbage. In fact, in case you’ve forgotten, I defended you upthread from similar insults.
And your description of my response to your gif is also childish. Quote the part of my response where I spit on your service. Quote the part of my response that said you were garbage. All said was that your response to my comment is part of the problem. And you equate that with spitting on your military service??? Dude, take your own advice and lighten up.
And of course I included myself in my comment. It was about “this thread.” Who posted in this thread? Me. I thought it was pretty damn clear.
