Why? Because your websites full of dog _____ say so? We don't need computer models to know that climate change is dangerous.
The past is our best laboratory to understand the future" says co-author Anbar "It's sobering to see how often the mass extinctions of the past were preceded by increases in ocean anoxia. There is a lot we don't understand about climate change, but the things we do know are a big cause for concern."
In the open ocean, global warming, which is primarily caused by increased greenhouse gas emissions, is considered the primary cause of ongoing deoxygenation. Numerical models project further oxygen declines during the 21st century, even with ambitious emission reductions. Rising global temperatures decrease oxygen solubility in water, increase the rate of oxygen consumption via respiration, and are predicted to reduce the introduction of oxygen from the atmosphere and surface waters into the ocean interior by increasing stratification and weakening ocean overturning circulation.

Jesus Christ! Nobody here is saying that we are all going to die.

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.
I don't know. A refugee crisis involving thousands from Syria (potentially driven in part by climate change) was a contributing factor in a substantial rise in fascist-like politics in Europe. Imagine what a refugee crisis involving millions in India could do. It's well within the realm of possibility that resource competition and social upheaval that is a realistic outcome of severe climate change could trigger a military conflict that goes nuclear and does "kill us all" in the sense that global nuclear war will.

Here’s an interesting paper that explores one possible trend in sea level rise, concluding that an increase of approximately two feet by that time isn’t out of the question. That’s enough of an increase to pose challenges to infrastructure that could cost anywhere from $50 billion to $1 trillion a year to mitigate.
So, yes, that doesn’t destroy mankind - not that anyone rational is claiming as much - but it does throw an awfully fookin’ big and expensive wrench into the works that we depend upon. And that’s the more manageable side of things, for first-world nations.
Meanwhile, the best example of climate alarmism keeps coming from folks like Water Dog, who are crouching in dark corners and whimpering about how “Trying to do anything about warming will destroy the ECONOMEEZ!!”
so who is going to apologize to CO2 for all of CH4's unknown/undiscovered misdeeds over the past decade(s)?....I mean a lot of scientists have been really hard on CO2 while CH4 pulled the strings from the shadows.....jus sayin'.

Ah, yes. Here comes the famed, “only one thing can drive the process, and it’s something else” argument.

I'm not sure why you say that, Sub. Here's a table of forcings from the AR 5. As you can see, scientists incorporate methane into their projections, including the fact that it decays into CO2 and water vapor.

Ahh the stupidity of people like subby to think in all his ignorance of the subject that he saw something thousands of scientists who study this stuff missed.
