The 2022 the Event Horizon Telescope will help us find life in other planets. Advanced aliens in our Milky Way galaxy already know that Earth has life. Evidence of life on Earth has been visible for millions of years.
More like 6000 years. It must have been a trip when Earth moved from the Kolob system to the Solar System. The astronomer who witnessed that happen with his telescope probably had a hard time convincing his fellow astronomers. "Dude, seriously, this planet just flew out of the orbit of one star and landed in the orbit of another star."

By scanning the entire galaxy for signs of complex life. The galaxy is billions of years old, so there was enough time for an advanced civilization to find all planets with complex life. Alien civilizations can use artificial intelligence to find and keep track of all the planets with complex life in the galaxy.
The James Webb Space Telescope could help astronomers find evidence of life in the near future. I suspect that in the far future we humans are going to send a space probe to every planet with life, so it makes sense to think that alien civilizations are doing the same thing. We have better chances of finding alien probes in the solar system than you have of winning the Megamillions.

We humans are going to have that technology in the near future. Jesus Christ! Do some research on the James Webb space telescope. It shouldn't be hard to find all planets with complex life in the galaxy, especially if you have time and artificial intelligence.

On the plus side, since their winged hotdog probe is only traveling at 94,800 km/h, if we poke it, we will all be long dead by the time anyone pokes back.
Jokes on them, by the time they come to take our planet we will have totally ruined it!
