While I normally don't like the way Trump bullies and humiliates his opponents, I did find sick pleasure in watching Jeff Sessions be publicly bullied and humiliated for the past 2 years. Hopefully Trump destroyed his political career. He is certainly unwanted in the new Trump party.

Given his obvious lack of objectivity and devotion to attacking Mueller, he should recuse himself. But that's something only people with a conscience would do, not Trump loyalists.

Whitaker, during an interview with CNN in July 2017, suggested that a potential future replacement for Sessions wouldn’t need to fire Mueller to kneecap the investigation.

“I could see a scenario where Jeff Sessions is replaced with a recess appointment and that attorney general does not fire Bob Mueller, but he just reduces his budget to so low that his investigation grinds to almost a halt,” Whitaker said at the time. In August 2017, roughly a month before his appointment as Sessions’ chief of staff, Whitaker penned an op-ed for CNN in which he suggested the Russia investigation was “going too far” and could be “a witch hunt.”

Gee, no wonder he got the job.

Of course this doesn't bother human garbage like water dog who is just itching for a "war."

A constitutional crisis isn't something anyone should look forward to, but Trump pulls this crap specifically to provide constant entertainment for his low-IQ followers. These are the same people keep encouraging him to have rallies to brag about all that "winning" in between monster truck shows and wrestlemania.

Only a person with mental health issues thinks, then worse, speaks the way you do. Obama played with fire and caused a kind of political version of a run on the banks. His rhetoric was triggering to feeble insecure minds like yours. The product of victimhood. And this is what the history books will reflect.

We could just make a list of what Obama, the peace prize winner, has achieved. His actions have resulted in a near total evisceration of democratic power. And it's only going to get worse. It got worse yesterday, but you're too blind to see it.

Wolf cries? Victimhood? What ever in the hell are you talking about? Everything I said about Trump is backed up with hard evidence. Just because he covers up one scandal with yet another every week doesn't mean they no longer exist because of your short term memory issues. You're the idiot still babbling about Obama and trying to blame him for crap caused by the Trump administration. Pretty pathetic for someone accusing others of victimhood.

I fully agree that every accusation you made against Trump is backed up by hard evidence. There is nothing hyperbolic about calling WD an idiot for continuing to support and apologize for this monster. I think Trump is close to realizing his fondest dream: to use the power of his presidency to permanently immunize himself from just prosecution and conviction for past crimes (and, likely, he hopes, future crimes he may already be planning to commit) that in a rational and just world would have resulted in years of incarceration for anyone else committing the same crimes.

I think the failure of the Democrats to gain a majority in this election could well prove to be tragic, because it almost certainly precludes any possibility of the Senate voting him out of office, no matter how compelling the justification for impeaching him.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Well Republicans keep asking on what grounds to impeach. Donny just provided the best grounds with precedent. If he continues and nukes the Mueller probe, this is a clear case of obstruction of justice.

Well, now today makes a lot more sense. Still obstruction of justice...

Donald Trump Jr. Expecting to Be Indicted by Mueller Soon

Last year, Donald Trump Jr. testified that he never informed his father of a meeting with Russian officials promising “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. It seemed hard to believe that the ne’er-do-well son would neglect to seek credit for his expected campaign coup from the father whose approval he so obviously craves. And now it seems that Robert Mueller has obtained proof that it is not in fact true. The Trump family lies all the time, of course, but doing it under oath is a crime.

Two days ago, Gabriel Sherman reported that White House officials are concerned about Donald Jr. “I’m very worried about Don Jr.,” a former West Wing official told Sherman, who fears Mueller will be able to prove perjury. Deep in a report about Trump’s 2020 campaign plans, Politico drops the news this morning that Trump Jr. “has told friends in recent weeks that he believes he could be indicted.”

If it’s what you’re saying, we love it.

The details of the expected indictment remain to be seen. But if Trump Jr. did lie under oath, the obvious question is why. He had a lawyer, who presumably informed him of the dangers of perjury. Why take the risk of perjury to deny having informed his father about a meeting with Russian officials if the contacts produced absolutely nothing?

Seems like the plan will be to stonewall subpoenas and hope Supreme Court backs that.

Why would Democrats be embarrassed for Republicans blindly supporting such human garbage to stain the courts for decades?
