Whatever the case may be, I think the Acosta conversation is actually more important that of the immigrants. You're talking about an openly hostile, combative, elected leader who has called the free press 'the enemy'.
If the press doesn't expose Trump for what he is, and we allow leaders to foment a distrust of the free press to the point of shutting it down or eliminating access then we have bigger problems than the caravan. So, in this case I'm glad Acosta stood his ground and this is getting the coverage it deserves.

Notice how the headline is inaccurate and misleading.
I've never actually heard him say that "The media" or "The free press" is the enemy of the people without using the qualifier "Fake news". It's been misrepresented every time I've read or heard it reported that way.
Ironically, this is coming from the mouth of a chronic liar who misrepresents and distorts fact like it's his job.
