If you don't agree with Obama's politics that means you're a racist. If you as a white person say something negative about a nonwhite person, that by definition is racism for those that practice social justice as a quasi religion. It's just part of the American liberal dogma. It seems it's part of the Australian liberal dogmas as well.

Same is true for most old white Republicans who hated him so much but have nothing bad to say whatsoever about Trump. No-one I have seen discussing the ridiculous 'birther' claims that Obama was not a natural born citizen (of which Trump was a famously and blindly persistent exponent), and hence ineligible to be President, has ever criticised the Article itself, or accused it of racism.

You can, if you like, believe that the fact that Obama is black had nothing to do with the hate-filled vigor with which the 'birther' allegations were propagated. You can even believe that Trump (who Cohen has revealed to be privately, shall we say, impolite about black people) was not in any way motivated by a sense that a black president was, ipso facto, undesirable.
