Must be more than a few if this poll worker is saying they have tons of noncitizens voting.

ajax: a serious question for you ... how does a poll worker know if a noncitizen is voting?

Follow up for canpakes,
how does a poll workerknow that a citizen is voting? and are you claiming that in American elections, only American itizens are voting?

Now who could ever make such a claim, given the size of the USA?

A more appropriate question, before devoting large resources of time and money to investigating this alleged issue might be to ask what solid evidence there is that non-citizen voting is a significant problem in the US at the present time. So far I have not seen any references to such evidence on this board.

(No, stuff about 'I met this one guy and he was totally a poll worker and he said ... ' is not what I meant by 'solid evidence'.

Fortunately, we don't determine if it's citizens voting by doing sting videos asking random poll workers until we can find one we can bait into giving the opinion we like. For one, it's not their job to know if a citizen is voting. It's their job to know if a person is legally registered to vote. The legal registration process is supposed to filter out people ineligible to vote. Ineligible voters rarely vote because the penalties are severe and a single vote is virtually meaningless. The risk/reward value of cheating the system at the individual voter level is nonsensical. That's why when we catch a few people illegally voting, it often involves gut-punch stories about people being confused. People getting caught attempting to defraud the system are very rare. It happens, but it's not in any way a threat to the integrity of the system.

Now, if you found a way to suppress thousands of votes, then we're talking about someone that can sway elections routinely. That certainly threatens the integrity of democracy.

Sounds like you're talking about the election fraud that Republicans have been engaged in.

If you want to treat this entirely different topic seriously, a few points:

1) Mueller wasn't appointed special counsel when Flynn was caught lying to the FBI.

2) I think the fact that the FBI can openly deceive people while trying to bait them into minor lies and even simple inconsistencies that people are commonly prone to and that can then can be used to criminally prosecute them is an abomination, but:

3) Flynn is guilty of much more than low-level lying to the FBI and his lies weren't minor. This is what he pled down to in exchange for substantial cooperation.

and

4) You're a massive hypocrite for only caring about this kind of thing when it affects Trump lieutenants. It's far more often used to harshly punish people where you either don't give a damn about it or actively cheer it on.

Finally,

5) Don't ever, ever talk to the FBI without lawyering up first, no matter how innocent you are.

None of this has anything to do with what Project Veritas is doing. You're just as much the mark as the people in the video they are stinging, Ajax. And what a good mark you are.

It doesn't take much in a state like Florida where the results are so close. Incidentally Broward County is where a lot of voter fraud goes on with high level election officials. Republicans aren't even allowed to be present for recounts when Democratically leaning election officials produce thousands of ballots out of thin air weeks after election day.

So far, Ajax, you haven’t provided a single reason as to why anyone interested in the truth should trust the ironically named Project Veritas. Your weak “whataboutism” is less than convincing.
