Perhaps i am part of southern rural culture that surely doesn't include all white people. Most people are disparaged as rednecks, inbred, or unintelligent and incapable. And yet i've travelled the world and have yet to find any other race or culture i would rather be. I'm grateful to have been been born poor and white in Appalachia. I'll seek to defend what my ancestors struggled to earn and pass on to me. I'm certainly not going to sit idly by as the lands of my nheritance are turned into a Latin American country by the same values and culture that made Latin America look the way it does today.

"Whiteness" as a concept developed out of race hierarchy which itself developed out of European colonial rule. There is no version of "white pride" that isn't either explicitly about that or indulges in the stereotypes that underlie that. There are ethnic and regional subcultures of groups of people who currently fall under the umbrella term "white," but no one refers to celebrating that heritage or wanting to continue those cultures as preserving "whiteness."
Thanks, Ajax, but I don’t think you answered my question. You didn’t describe white culture. You described a geography based culture, of which there are many in America. What is “white culture” — the culture that you and I have in common by virtue of our whiteness?

Festa Italiana. Croatian Fest. Irish Fest. India Fest. Mexican Fiesta. Indian Summer Fest. Some others I'm sure I've forgotten about. There's a lot.

Given no input from ajax that might suggest otherwise, your characterization has been how I would interpret this. But perhaps there are some important things out there that can be positively identified as representative of US Caucasian cultural heritage, such as, say, processed American cheese singles.
I'd really appreciate if ajax were to give a response to the question, but I suspect that I know why it may be difficult to answer.

If he showed you who he is via his posts on this board, that should be enough to facilitate argument to the contrary. If someone else showed you who he is via old words posted elsewhere, then it's simply an excuse to marginalize him on this board.
